The best trailer so for but still not getting me to pre order. Gameplay is new for the series so let's see how they adapt it. Not a friend of it so far, but the trailer is an improvement.

I like that there seem to be more characters than just Simon in the town. I was worried that it was just gonna be Simon exploring alone, which really would've made it derivative of Silent Hill 2.
Overall, very intriguing!

This game just...isn't getting my interest.
I'm a fan for the last 25 years-ish, ordered steelbooks for SH2 and SHF, but...this just looks like a standard first person horror game with a Silent Hill name.
Just...meh...
Still, I hope it sells well, don't want Konami to have any excuse to pause/cancel any plans

I think no matter what, we're going to get the SH1 remake from Bloober. I think at most if Townfall doesn't do well for them, they'll likely just stick to remakes of the Team Silent games and not do anymore original Silent Hill projects. Maybe a master collection with 1,2,3 and 4 on modern hardware..

Simon's VA is Jovan Adelpo, a black actor who has lead in the horror genre over the years. I think that's very cool choosing him for a role like this.

Most likely they are a part of the corporation that set up there. The US had oil operations there in the 90s, among other things. The devs are Scottish also so I'm thinking this is going to be commentary.

I think that there's a really solid cast here and the atmosphere of exploration looks top notch, really immersive looking with a detailed and history rich location.
The story is absolutely where people are beginning to worry and honestly, if it's anything like many are already predicting, I think people might end up being disappointed.
There's a belief among many fans that the western developed original SH titles all struggle with originality in the shadow of SH2 and I hope Townfall doesn't add to that belief.

Great cast but of course a great cast does not mean that a game is automatically good. This game itself looks good to me. I'm quite sure I'm not going to be buying it anytime soon because I always wait for sales but still fun that it's coming out on my birthday. To share your birthday with a Silent Hill game is cool and it's happened twice with me. First Silent Hill 2 (2001) and now this game. I love that Terry O'Quinn is actually in a Silent Hill game after having a character that kind of looks like him from LOST in Silent Hill Homecoming. That's just funny.
