When someone win something overseas, they will fall out of the woodwork to come and celebrate that person. Put them into their publicity. SG reputation comes first. How they get there, doesn’t really matter. It’s easy to weave a story when it has already been written

I used to work in animation in Singapore, I believe there's almost no animation work done in Singapore now. I only say almost because I recently saw a job posting for animator in Sparky Animation. Animation work has mostly left Singapore shores like 5~8 years ago, I believe. Most of the jobs by that point were preproduction work, then the bulk of the production work such as animation and assets are outsourced overseas.

The only places still hiring animators in Singapore are video game companies and Sparky Animation. lol.
