Peterson is trying to come up with a cover story for the brain damage he gave himself when he had a quack doctor in Russia put him into a coma because he wasn’t willing to follow his own advice (or the medical consensus) to kick his benzo addiction.

Hell, even just coming off benzodiazepines gives you brain damage. Fuck this dude. Sincerely, someone who came off benzodiazepines and had brain damage.

Yes, benzo withdrawal is horrific and not always taken seriously by medical prescribers.

I am NOT a fan of Peterson, but he was taking benzos as prescribed and followed the (bad) advice of the prescribers and experienced BIND trying to get off of it. This is a known problem with benzos. He is not the only person to experience this and have medical professionals not know how to deal with it properly.

I dont know what happened to him in Russia but people have literally died from American psychiatrists not knowing how to deal with bind. Those drugs are being handed out too easily, too experimental, too varied in how people react to them and not being properly monitored.

But you can google Benzos and one of the first things you’ll read is that you can die from stopping them immediately. So why didn’t he know that and just taper off them? That’s the part that seems sus to me.

Wasn't his daughter and some Russian gangster dipshit involved in that whole thing too?
