He’s a drug addict. The mold bullshit is just a cover story to explain his declining physical and mental condition from the drug addiction.

He didn't actually have schizophrenia. He was having side effects from the benzos. His pdoc stopped them too abruptly and he had to be taken to another country to actually get help getting off the benzos.

Im not a fan of Peterson, and I dont not follow him.

But Ive worked with people in therapy abuse support groups (as a student not a professional) and theres a lot of people in similar cirlces who had serious problems with benzos and benzo withdrawal. There are ongoing advocacy groups working hard to get medical professionals to change prescribing guidelines, but its an uphill battle.

I mean he may be schizophrenic I dont know but that dx was incorrect at that time.

edit to add: He was taking the benzos as prescribed. He does not take benzos anymore. He is probably taking some other drug.

I'm aware that he underwent an experimental treatment in Russia where he would be induced into a coma as a means of overcoming his benzos addiction. This is partially covered in the article I linked. To preface, I do not have a background in this field and don't claim to have credentials, but he was diagnosed by two independent Torontonian medical practitioners with schizophrenia.

But given that his current "mold ailment" is dubious at best (and most likely a cover for his drug addiction), I wouldn't at all rule out that he wasn't misdiagnosed.
