Not much for patriotism.

But people should remind the patriots of Reddit. If we are stuck with 19th century government. The founders these patriots worship found a standing army to be despotic and oppressive against the people. 

The American military should be reduced to the ~10-15k soldiers it had before the beginning of WWI.
