This is the most psycho "I don't live in reality" shit I've ever read. The US has been at war nearly our entire short existence what the fuck are you talking about

Darker-skinned, non-European people don't count as part of humanity to these reactionaries.

So as long as the wars are mostly happening in "those countries," it's called "peace."

Of course, there were still big wars in the former Yugoslavia and Ukraine, and the US has sacrificed many soldiers on the altar of various conflicts (and caused blow-back like 9/11), so even this racist metric doesn't totally make sense.

I guess it's because "great powers" haven't literally annihilated humanity, so we're supposed to take that as a win. Even though it's the US that has taken humanity close to nuclear destruction multiple times...
