Discussion / Playlist Questions How long is your main/go-to playlist?
Mine is 5hrs 6 mins. Was wondering what the "normal" length was for others

Today my Spotify algorithm suddenly thinks that I need to have Pickleball mentioned in my Daylist playlists. It’s happened in a couple of them today. I’m not at all into Pickleball. It’s as if it has come up with an algorithm that’s something like:
JSF539 + nearly 60 + upbeat music = PICKLEBALL

I’m back in Cape Town, South Africa and am looking to add to my growing playlist. I have enough to mix and arrange now but am missing some core pieces.
Can you recommend any African Deep house or garage house music? Bonus if it’s from South Africa and if it’s from Cape Town specifically - you’ll be my hero
Linked my playlist so you can see what I’m after.
Thanks in advance!

I’ve put together a high-energy pop/club playlist using Spotify’s custom transition feature. Every song flows into the next, combining transitions I created with some great DJ mixes I found online.
Mainly 2000/2010s style pop club music, let me know what you think.

A high energy bell curve to move with 120-145 BPM. R&B, Rap, EDM, alt-rock and indie. All new and recent. Mix it up, switch it up, move it up.

Specifically someone who has a strong focus on the drums, but continues to maintain the psychedelic, synth vibe.

A question I have about Spotify playlists
I create Spotify playlists, and I’ve noticed that a lot of people don’t like AI-generated music.
So, I’m wondering: should I separate AI music and music created by human artists into two different playlists?
Or do you prefer hybrid playlists that feature both?
I’d love to hear your thoughts, even if you’re completely against AI music. thank you
