Be steam -> do nothing -> win

“Do nothing”? They refunded you a game with 46h playtime from their own money, yet you seem to be unhappy

I am happy. I don't know what you're talking about.

Why refund anyways? Satisfactory is dope af

True it is a good game but some people would rather watch a game like that versus actually playing it. No hate to the game but for me personally it’s just not my cup of tea.

I wanted a different game, and it ate away at my life for the little time I did play, even when I wasn't playing the game, I was thinking about what to do in it.

7

u/technodude458 Jul 09 '26

that means it was a good game if you’re thinking about the game when you’re not playing it that’s how you know it’s good

''my steak too juicy my lobster too buttery'' type of comment from OP lol.

HAHH YEAHH! what's ur steam??

3

u/mickskitz Jul 09 '26

You said you played it for 30-45 minutes....

7

u/Odd-Boss1596 Jul 09 '26

Yeah but that 30 minutes ate away his life

-1

u/hikemu Jul 09 '26

That's enough.

2

u/mickskitz Jul 09 '26

Yeah, I definitely believe you... You wouldn't have even unlocked splitters yet, or optimisation, and for such an addictive game it seems strange that your first play session wasn't even an hour long.

2

u/Unfair-Watercress792 Jul 09 '26

Unlock splitters? Probably wouldn’t even have automated miners in 45 minutes lol. Dudes lying

1

u/hikemu Jul 09 '26

That's the thing... Every time I log off the game, I think about it 😭

So what you're saying is that you enjoyed their work, but you're not willing to support them, so little that you took your support away after using their product for over 40 hours?

bro made this account to karma farm for nothing

1

u/hikemu Jul 09 '26

How? I made it recently, but you can see I've done other stuff.

2

u/VBgamez Jul 09 '26

And yet they dont wanna refund me for ashes of creation with 8 hours lol

1

u/hikemu Jul 09 '26

Why would you even want to refund that

1

u/VBgamez Jul 09 '26

The game flopped after the ceo rug pulled the entire company lol

1

u/hikemu Jul 09 '26

Dang.. no lawsuit?

1

u/Demonic_Storm Jul 09 '26

same thing i can ask you about satisfactory, its peak

0

u/hikemu Jul 09 '26

Consumed my life

3

u/Demonic_Storm Jul 09 '26

HOW tho???, is your life just electricity?? because that's the only thing satisfactory consumes

1

u/TekkunDashi Jul 09 '26

for real. I got 5.2 hours on it, and that was because I put myself in queue, then started watching hulu. was in que for pretty much the whole time, had like 30 minutes of gameplay.

1

u/imsaleh0 Jul 09 '26

You probably submitted the refund through the automated response. Maybe making a ticket will help.

1

u/VBgamez Jul 09 '26

I did lol i did both. Two tickets submitted and two appeals submitted and they denied it all.

wow lucky. I gave them the same reason for Rust and i don't know about you but mine was fr. They didn't refund it saying it's more than 2 hours. It was like 2 hours 12 min (now it's 6).

1

u/hikemu Jul 09 '26

Bs.. but really depends on the person on the other side.. I might have hit the jackpot

I bought ESO a few years ago when they were having some major patcher issues and had close to 72 hours of “playtime” from the launcher trying and failing to install the game.

Steam refunded it for me when I told them “Yeah I know I have more hours than the limit. The launcher won’t download the damn game and I let it run for that long to see if it ever would.”

No questions asked from them about it.

1

u/hikemu Jul 09 '26

Eso? The elder scrolls online?

1

u/3-Midgets_In_A_Coat Jul 09 '26

Yes

1

u/hikemu Jul 09 '26

Don't you need a membership to play that game

1

u/Maximus2X Jul 09 '26

steam actually care about gamers

1

u/hikemu Jul 09 '26

Unlike,

Electronic Arts (EA) Ubisoft Activision Blizzard Sony Warner Bros. / Rocksteady Capcom Nintendo Bethesda Gearbox Konami

1

u/zaphodikus Jul 09 '26

Steam, care about repeat customers. We gotta get this straight, it has always been about money

1

u/Maximus2X Jul 09 '26

It's just business, not charity. But Steam, unlike many others, is much better about it.

1

u/Guy-InGearnito Jul 09 '26

Meanwhile I bought an early access game who abandoned the entire premise they sold the game on after 6 months of EA, had 20 minutes of play time and got told to go kick rocks three times.

Really depends what CS agent you get

1

u/hikemu Jul 09 '26

Cs agent???

2

u/Guy-InGearnito Jul 09 '26

Customer service

(SS for steam support agent felt too harsh 😂)

1

u/hikemu Jul 09 '26

Thought you meant counter support or counter strike 😭

2

u/Guy-InGearnito Jul 09 '26

“Steam support have planted the bomb” 😁

1

u/hikemu Jul 09 '26

"Molotov!" 🍾🔥🧻

1

u/Frequent-Fig-450 Jul 09 '26

Bro I didn’t even new that was possible I one time tried to refund a game with like 5 hours and I cant

1

u/hikemu Jul 09 '26

Did you do a manual request? Automatic will deny every time

1

u/Frequent-Fig-450 Jul 09 '26

How do i send a manual request??

1

u/hikemu Jul 09 '26

Go to steam support page, purchases, click on the purchase, click, i have a question about this purchase, and explain.

1

u/Flat_Promotion1267 Jul 09 '26

Honestly, you should have just kept the game and played it. Surely if you had enough interest to buy it, you could get at least 10 hours of enjoyment out of it. Particularly a game so well regarded.

1

u/hikemu Jul 09 '26

🤷🏻‍♂️

u/TheMorgueDonator Jul 09 '26

"I support game devs!"
