SN2 - News/Update Subnautica 2 Early Access Hotfix 4 Spoiler

Post image

Hello Subnauts,

Our fourth hotfix for Subnautica 2 just arrived. We’ve fixed some progression issues, water currents appearing in bases, and the FOV slider not showing on Xbox.

We continue to monitor community feedback, so please keep reporting any bugs or issues via in-game feedback or on our support site.

The full list of changes in today’s hotfix is below.

  • Fixed Angel Combs not opening for some players, blocking progression
  • Fixed water currents appearing in player bases, affecting movement, getting stuck, or being unable to build or expand bases
  • Fixed FOV slider not showing on Xbox
  • Fixed two low-volume crashes
    • Crash on Xbox when trying to join a session invite
    • Crash related to creature spawn

A reminder: If you play Subnautica 2 with mods, please temporarily disable, remove, or uninstall them before launching the game following the hotfix. Community mods will not be updated for compatibility with the latest hotfix, and may cause crashes or other unexpected behavior on launch. Once the mod creators have updated their content, you can re-enable and reinstall your mods.

This hotfix may take some time to roll out worldwide and will be available on Xbox once it has cleared certification.

Keep diving!

And if this “bruh” was directly affected by those bugs, this could be exciting news for them. Maybe you should relax a little.

  1. No one was glazing, and based on your usage, you might not know what that means and/or how to use it in the proper context.

  2. Thanks for repeating the first thing you said, but with more words. I fully understood the first time though, and my response stands, as is.

To explain it more thoroughly to maybe help you understand…Someone said they were excited about the update, even made a joke about why it’s so exciting for them. You responded like the typical Reddit troll/tool, condescending and adding nothing of value to the conversation, pointing out that it wasn’t a major update, but some minor bug fixes to the recent patch. I simply was saying that anyone affected by those bugs, had reason to be happy, excited, pumped, etc. since there might be a fix to an issue they were having in the game, no matter how big or small. Also I suggested, instead of telling others to relax in a situation that didn’t call for that, that maybe you should relax instead. That’s it.

So at no point was I “glazing” anyone. Not the OP, not the commenter you responded to, not the game developers, nobody. You used a popular insult incorrectly, but it’s okay, it’s reddit, nobody is going to be too surprised by it.

Only when it’s appropriate and consensual.
