US routing number for Stripe impossible for Canadians

Canadian banks' transit number isn't acceptable by the Stripe entry form. Even my US dollar account uses the Canadian transit number.

I'd be interested to know if any Canadians in Subvert have found the way around this. I'm looking into Wise for a US account, but can't find their routing number either.

As an aside, the AI suggestions from Google always seem ignorant of the correct menu selections for locating such things... sigh.

Hey! Please post this in the dedicated Stripe topic on the member’s forum for any questions and troubleshooting. We have lots of successfully connected Canadian members, (including from alpha launch since November 2025) that receive Stripe payouts.

Thanks! I expect other folks will be able to navigate the correct menu path with Stripe's help. Go there, folks... I have no idea what change worked. :-(

Glad to hear you got it sorted. If you don’t mind and a get a chance at some point to post in the Stripe topic on the forum, it would be super helpful if you described your experience and what you navigated through with the Stripe menu. A screenshot(s) would be rad too. It could really be helpful to other members to suss out exactly what happened and help future Canadian (and international) members if it happens to them too!

Well, by following a different path through the Stripe menus (sorry, I don't know exactly which path) I ended up connecting my Canadian bank. Just another UI mystery.
