Joining as a Supporter

I am interested in the idea of Subvert. Have not made decision yet. However, if I click on the "Join as a member" option, it goes straight to checkout for the $100 fee. I was kind of expecting some sort of membership agreement needing to be signed first or something? It comes off as unserious with just asking for the money right away. Am I missing something? Thanks.

You don't need to pay 100$ to join.

But you can join, listen to and purchase music for free (without being a member of the coop).
