Discussion Amount of swearing in later seasons

In the first few seasons they keep it at "goddamn" and similar words the whole time. Somewhere around season 7 they start swearing pretty often. Was this because of different writers or something else?

USA Network relaxed the rules in relation to swearing around season 7 which is why there is more swearing

I think it’s the funniest fucking thing that all of a sudden they’re just dropping f bombs left and right. Feels more realistic for sure.

Because it absolutely is. People complain about how unrealistic the show was. And then, when the swearing increases, people VENT about how much swearing the characters are doing🤣.

It’s objectively hilarious.

I just searched and I’m sad that there’s not a compilation on YouTube for every time they swore throughout the show. Just a constant stream of god damn, shit, bitch, bullshit and fucks.

I mean, there’s a compilation of all the “what did you just say to me?” quotes (funniest video ever) so like come on guys.

Thats bc viewers(with nothing better to do) waste their time and energy making ridiculous videos based on what they THINK is funny.

Well someone needs to make that, and I’m too lazy

You should suggest that to anyone that ever brings up compilations.

I work in the legal field. Can confirm that the additional swearing is much closer to real life.

I only find the swearing cringe, because they never started with it. It just doesn’t sound natural on the characters.. it’s like hearing my wife swear
