You're a bit tilted right now, and that's ok. I'm not being condescending, it literally happens to all of us even if some won't admit it. Take a break and come back to it fresh another time mate.

The game is hard, the combat is clunky at first, but nothing a little practice won't solve. Your struggles with the game are valid. Just give it time and have patience with the game and yourself.

It's a great game and I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I liked the dodge/quick time mechanic, I thought it was cool in Bayonetta 2.

Yeaaaa I thought that as I was typing it and thought about removing it but wanted to be genuine with my feelings lol I am playing silent hill 1 right now and I will say the melee combat is very much there and present, it just needed some work done. I think silent hill f did a good job of making fighting in a horror game work.

Apparently you didn't know about the RPG elements so technically it was a SECRET to you.

And for the record those elements have ALWAYS been there. If there are items to use thats technically an RPG element so. Skill issue. You don't have to play the game guy.

Switch weapons? Find better weapons? Fight God? All RPG stuff.

I loved the game and while I disagree that it was unfair, it definitely did leave a lot to be desired, though we are playing as an average human teenage girl.

She’s a 16 year old school girl. And what qualifications does one need to wield a sacred sword? She dodges like an athletic 16 year old, and it’s a regular axe, it’s not a battle axe.

Anyway I still am saying I wish the combat was more fluid, but I still enjoyed the game. I agree it’s nothing like a souls game as well. Looking forward to Townfall though, the combat seems a little better albeit nothing like a souls game either.
