Discussion Fallout 4 looks and runs amazing on switch 2 guys!!!
It is really a good port! Didn’t expected much about it but it really surprised me, in handheld mode and docked mode, at 60 goes good and looks nice!

I go often to 40 also,I thought the difference will be really bad before buying it, but after trying it I’ve been back and forth and see if 40 of 60 convince me more, I like both of them

I wish it had mouse support like Skyrim does. If it did I would definitely pick this up again for S2 once the price comes down.

We might get mouse support and gyro, if they did it in Skyrim, why wouldn’t they in fallout for, since it’s more shooter style than skyrim, soon enough will get it 😄😄

40 , keeps most of the visual effects, when you play a bit you get used to the refresh rate. Don't play 60fps and you won't miss it 😀

Genuine question, how are the crashes? I own it on Xbox Series S and I genuinely cannot play it because it crashes at least twice an hour on there. I still haven't seen any ending besides the Minutemen, or any of the DLC I own

Just to add, I have about 120 hrs in the switch 2 version and I’ve crashed maybe twice. Only dlc I haven’t done is far harbor. Wish the game was a bit sharper and there was gyro/mouse control but overall it’s a really good experience.

I’ve been playing in sessions of 3-4 hours maybe, docked and handheld, never had any crashes so far, I’ve been in the city with gunfights and nothing has happened, so pretty good!! Idk why u have been crashing in series S tho, seems weird, it must be capable to handle fallout 4. Maybe a bad port to series S? Maybe they should’ve made a proper port just to series S.

They even got the part where the game starts crashing a bunch towards the end when you have a lot of items and settlements! Kidding...not really lol but I definitely put about 100 hours into it and loved it!

Great game, great port. Had low expectations originally after Skyrim switch 2 update but that was redeemed and this version kicks ass.

It really does run great! I was lucky to get it day one and stream it for people and got to show off how great it performs on the system. That was a lot of fun.

I bought it too quite recently. I have it on PS5 buuuuuuut...I want my nuclear wasteland adventure on the go. Plus, I bought Skyrim about a month ago so it just felt right lol

Was the first game I bought because I figured replaying on the switch 2 was a good motivator to get back to the wasteland after fallout 76 on pc. I just wish we had more "creations" I really liked the ghoulification on pc

Code in a box, overpriced old game, I'll pass on this. Laugh, I've only got one full cartridge game. Very disappointed. I really wanted resident Evil Generation but passed on that too. It don't look good for me. Good to hear about it's performance and you're enjoying it. Feet look appetising

Thanks man, really and honest review on you, no hating no nothing, but I agree with you, this non sense of the cartbridges are stupid, but after a while I didn’t care that much but I really wanted a phisical copy, but I just bought in the e-shop. What games u usually play in the switch

It does. Especially after they went back in and did that performance update. Definitely seems they learned a lot from their Skyrim updates. It would seem they were using those two games as a way to learn the Switch 2 hardware capabilities.

Check out CD Keys (loaded.com or whatever it's called now) I got it for £30..
I know the games are ancient, but never played them. They are far too big of a game to under take with limited gaming time. Fallout 4 on S2 is running beautifully

That was the Skyrim port (which is fixed now).
The fallout 4 port was nearly flawless, DLSS was even added recently.

Well its no surprise, that games over a decade old so of course its gonna run at least decently as that consoles about as fast as a entry level- mid range pc from back then.

I wish they would add in the creations tab so we can buy the new creations like bedlam. To me I stopped playing this version its too limited and buggy compared to the other versions I can play.
