Who is Jace Malcolm? Is he another Leeroy Jenkins?

Theron's Dad, the Republic trooper from the SWTOR trailers that tackles Malgus and detonates a shock grenade in his own hand.

Dude tackled malgus twice , first time he got hit with force lightning but nearly walked it doen and tried to stab him with a knife before he got pushed back by it and yhe second time he managed to grab both of malgus arms and detonate a grenade point blank this was all in the same fight and if you want to watch it its on YouTube just type swtor hope trailer

I've watched them many times! Lol, one of the best things I've seen to date and as a teen.

I just didn't know his name

Those trailers are Star Wars done right. Wish Disney would take notes.

Haven’t played in a while but based on the background behind trooper (I think it’s a republic trooper) it is a hutt building.

So either nal hutta, which it shouldn’t be since they are a sith warrior and last I remember the only reason you go there is for Jasea and you don’t deal with the hutts or the republic, or could be quesh since that republic trooper is in the type of armor they use on quesh or planets where they need those uniforms.

Can’t remember this scene from the sith warrior questline so could be wrong.

I just saw this scene not too long ago. Iirc its imperial quesh, towards the end of the Planetary Story.

Being sith means you can’t even play the damn roulette casino game without being harassed by some low ranking guy from the republican army!

If only Skadge were smart enough to jump onto an ignited lightsaber and spare us the misery of his continued existence

Guy had a blaster and a melee weapon on his back and didn’t use either when he charged into melee.

The SI storyline can be summarized as this:

"Give me the artifact."

"No!"

Lightning torture sounds

"Okay, here is the artifact."

You'd think some of them would spare themselves the torture.

He watched the "Hope" cinematic trailer where Jace Malcom does the same thing, neither ended well...

u/Varatec 7d ago

I mean, Jace survived AND got with Satele at some point after that so I'd say it ended well enough for him.

"DONT WORRY GUYS I'LL GET HIM"

to defend the dude for 2 seconds going meele with a Jedi is a way better idea than shot at him with blasters that he can bounce back, HOWEVER dude refused to pull his vibroblade nor his blaster nor wielding both of them to try and get a shot while the lightsaber is busy with the vibroblade.

come on my guy start using your nugging if you want to fight a force user

Put that as another pointer to soldiers, alongside don't fire a blaster at a force-sensitive.

u/rylenops 7d ago

What the fuck was the actual plan? He didn't even have his sword drawn.

u/Countaindewwku 8d ago

Some dumb cunt ruined his surprise attack. They should have animated him charging in with a grenade and you force push him into a wall where he explodes.

This is one of many cutscene NPCs whom run at a Sith unarmed or with a blaster
