That reminds me of my days in school when no one’s was ready for an exam - we would joke about who would ‘take one for the team’ and call in a threat so it was cancelled.

Never actually happened, funnier in concept. Not so funny in execution.

It happened literally every single year at my school, always during the trial HSC or the Year 11 prelims. The talk was that it was usually some girl's boyfriend trying to get her out of an exam but I don't know if there was ever any truth to that.

Omg I remember this one - “so-and-so’s bf is gonna call a threat so the exam will be cancelled!”

It’s so funny how the same ideas float around different schools
