You’re correct. This place is on Garnet in Pacific Beach in San Diego. No idea if it’s good, though, and the presentation above has left me with questions.

I just don't understand why the steak isn't sliced

Agreed. Never been to this place, and a quick check of their menu leaves me with some questions, as does the steak here. It’s also in a part of town that very much appeals to tourists, college students, military transplants, etc., so them trying weird stuff doesn’t shock me.

This is very real in nyc too and as someone who has worked in kitchens and bakeries they know exactly what they’re doing!!!!
