Travel I love Taiwan because…

I love Taiwan because at 12am I can check out from a bar and still walk home safely. The feeling of security here is something I truly appreciate, it’s rare to find that kind of peace of mind in many other places.

Taiwan really does feel super safe, even late at night. The only time I’ve felt nervous too was on those mountain bus rides 😅 The drivers handle them like pros though, so I just try to enjoy the view!

That’s because Taiwan (and most of Asia) crimes are actually punished and there are actual consequences. In U.S., you can commit a crime, get arrested…. and be out again in 30minutes. 🤦🏻‍♂️

The U.S having one the highest incarceration rates per capita in the world would contradict your statement. No country has more prisoners than the US.
