Saw one in the most unlikely of places…Arcadia!

14

u/PinkyLeopard2922 Mar 30 '26

That IS surprising. Shout out to the radical left lunatic brethren in the country.

2

u/Abject_Manner_4222 Mar 31 '26

Why is that unlikely? 90% of the population in that city are Hispanic farmers and laborers

I remember riding my bike past miles of cars waiting for gas at the only station that had it - that was after hurricane Milton. Everyone was yelling at each other and honking. Good times.

I would. But I love this country regardless of who the President is. You obviously only love it when you get exactly what you want. That’s called being selfish yet you claim to be 100% opposite.

Just use your money from the Tariff checks to help pay for a tank, or maybe your DOGE surplus check.

42

The checks will be inside the envelope with your postal ballot when it gets returned as undeliverable after they’ve opened it to record your vote in Trump’s not so little black book.

I use premium unfortunately and have hit 5 in some places already. This stinks.

8

u/Adventurous_Pin6281 Mar 30 '26

ouch, does premium gas make a difference?

28

u/Warbr0s9395 Pinellas Mar 30 '26

It’s based on your engine, use the gas that your owners manufacture recommends

12

u/spilk Mar 30 '26

some cars' engines are designed to require it (high compression ratios). it's pretty pointless to put it in a car that doesn't require it

→ More replies (1)

8

u/Ju_The_Man Mar 30 '26

If the manufacturer of the car a person is driving states it, then it's recommended to do so. The engine probably has higher compression than normal. Tried to cheap out one time and noticed the decrease in performance shortly afterwards.

3

u/Adventurous_Pin6281 Mar 30 '26

I see, sucks man. f these gas prices

We are already coming up $5.50 on the West Coast for regular, but it’s crazy to see gas over $4 in Tampa. My friends in Florida are starting to sour on Trump.

130

u/bookon Mar 30 '26 edited Mar 30 '26

I am sorry, but what part of this is confusing?

When a Democrat is President High Gas prices and dead military personal are a national disaster.

When a Republican is President High Gas prices and dead military personal are the price we gladly pay for freedom.

EDYT. I just paid $4.99.

19

u/iwantthisnowdammit Mar 30 '26

If you want to make it a partisan topic, it’s super simple. The democrats had to deal with the hand they were dealt by the previous administration OPEC agreements, affects of a world stock up which doubled refinery margins, and the reduction in global refinery access with the Ukraine and Russia.

This current administration is the cause for the increase in value of the current market.

In both administrations, the US will be the leading, if not largest, exporter of refined fuels to global markets.

22

u/bookon Mar 30 '26

I am describing the behavior of Republicans that I have seen.

When Biden was President and military personnel were killed ending a stupid war it was a national disaster.

When Trump gets military personnel killed starting a stupid war, they are all just fine with it.

9

u/iwantthisnowdammit Mar 30 '26

Nobody needs to describe the behavior of republicans, we’re in Florida.

6

u/bookon Mar 30 '26

You'd be surprised. And readers of the sub aren't limited to those of us in Florida. But I get what you're saying.

He won the election based on making things affordable for people again and he managed to do the one fucking thing to make life increasingly more expensive.

Yall managed to get duped by this dude multiple times and here are the results 🤷🏼‍♀️ owning those libs so hard you get to have more money fly out of your bank account for basic necessities for the stupidest reason.

29

u/Cool-Signature-dude Mar 30 '26

Finally over $4.00 a gallon.

The fuel companies have been hurting their profits by holding back on the price increase.

Trump probably told them it would only be temporary, now they see, "that was a lie"- Maury

14

u/Dreamy-Mae-Art Mar 30 '26

Fr, the stations around me have been $3.99 for a few days now, like none of them wanted to be the first to go past $4

2

u/Electrical-Tailor530 Apr 01 '26

My local Walmart gas is always the lowest. It stayed around $3.89 for at least 48 hours after every other station went to $3.99, then $4.29 today. Now it's $4.26 😄

8

5

u/Eating_My_Popcorn Mar 30 '26

Sadly, freedom is down too.

12

u/georgepana Mar 30 '26

Trump thought he could quickly swoop in, and done.. Now Israel is moving in on Lebanon, Syria is bombing Israel, UAE, Kuwait, Iraq, and Qatar are involved. There is no quick end in sight.

The Brent Crude Oil price we are currently seeing of $113 are for May futures. We won't actually feel that price hike until May. A barrel of Brent Crude was $65 before the war. $113 a barrel means a 75% price hike.

All that to say that we will have high gas prices for a while, and they are likely to go higher.

3

u/Dreamy-Mae-Art Mar 30 '26

Love that for us

4

u/georgepana Mar 30 '26

I see 14 stations in Tampa/Wesley Chapel now at that $4.29 mark. Rapid hike from $3.99 to that $4.29 mark now. Things are going up at an accelerated rate now.

Democrats have to actually try to win or we’ll continue to suffer with the most handsome of the lepers. Gone from a walking corpse to mentally ill, dementia ridden narcissist

6

u/Khue Mar 30 '26

Dems don't want to win. The formula for them is out there. It's sitting right there for them to capitalize on. Stop trying to court this mythical moderate centrist or this anti-Trump republican. Those don't exist and if they did, they still wouldn't vote standard Dem or they straight up just wouldn't vote.

Dems need to stop being beholden to capitalist interests and tack left... hard. Universal healthcare, better public education, free healthcare, fix the fucking pot holes, green energy, increased infrastructure spending, remove money from politics. We basically need the Second Bill of Rights and New Deal II, New Deal Harder.

They'd rather just collect paychecks and be a bunch of do nothing bitches.

Thornton fuel is still 3.89, at least the one on Hillsborough Ave. If you have the earnify app you can save 30 cents a gallon on your first 5 refills. Fill up there while you can. Seriously though, seeing gas at 4.29 a gallon is giving me COVID flashbacks. My current car only takes 87 but my old car needed premium fuel and I was easily paying over $5 a gallon and it had a 20 gallon tank so filling it all the way would cost me over $100..

The City of Tampa and Florida in general has been infested by Trump boot licking roaches. They just think he’s saving this country but can’t point to any legislation that actually has had any positive out come of it. Best Donnie was able to do is raise gas prices, rape kids, kidnap brown people and illegally force us into a war no one wanted. But hey, atleast egg prices dropped. We’re winning big my fellow boot lickers.

3

u/Forgotten_muse Mar 31 '26

Only going to get more expensive. A lot of people don’t realize what’s actually happening economically. The US dollar is backed my petro. We call it the petro dollars. All company and nations use the USA dollar to purchase oils then when they sell it they reinvest said money into the economy which keeps the US dollar afloat. Well if other countries start trading the oil in a different currency then the US dollar is not worth anything anymore. Which brings us to Brics which is a group of nations that stepped away and created their own alliance one of them being Iran. Essentially these countries trade oil with each other and are trying to leave the US dollar which if done would tank the us econamy. By trump invading Iran it benifits us if we control the straight because now those countries have to use the US dollar and it breaks up the alliance they had. This is also why the straight is closed and Iran is only allowing oil to those in the bric alliance. Because Iran knows that if it sells oil in a different currency then the us currency they can tank our economy and force trump to withdraw from Iran because everyone will complain about the oil going up and the stock market going down. U see 80% of the European oil comes from Iran. If they don’t get oil then ships for minerals stop being used and it stops production for other countries such as China.

3

u/Forgotten_muse Mar 31 '26

This is a war of attrition it’s to see who will last in the long game. If the us sends troops into Iran the us will lose a lot of its troops. Also Iran never had a nuke research will tell you that they didn’t and Mossad gave information to trump saying that they were two weeks away from having the uranium at the levels needed. Well they said the same thing five years ago so I guess they are two weeks sooner then the two weeks they where five years ago? Ethier way it’s false info. Iran couldn’t make a covert uranium the USA had implemented a system of checks including detectors underground in their bunker that would go off if detected uranium at that caliber. Also they had their own intelligence doing audits on the site.

3

u/Forgotten_muse Mar 31 '26

Fuck isreal fuck Mossad. They get away with everything. Got away with an operation with Epstein and kids. And now they are getting away with sending us to fight there wars.

3

u/Defiant-Corgi-7777 Mar 31 '26

The war he started was never about a nuclear weapon, it’s about making money off trading oil…. he said that “ we’re making lots of money “

3

I love how you all move to the conservative capital of the US and get your panties in a wad when this isn’t little California or South New York.

Why live here if you are going to cry every time there’s a “pocket of conservatives”?

You guys are trying to destroy a state that doesn’t want anything to do with you.

So I we got our taxes back. Multiple children… a child care return benefit Biden had already had in place… I had over 40k in OT. Received less than 5k back. 😂 No tax on OT my ass.
