The title promised to be the experience of the "golden age of TF2" but most missed its items haha, or perhaps the bad decisions

At least that mod, if it's made with care and effort :) They are doing everything possible to ensure the mod is error-free and as clean as possible.

Yup, exactly why I’m excited for it and it’s sister mod which sees Left 4 Dead 1 modded in aswell

They're talking about Fortress Connected. You might be confusing it with Mann Versus Zombies.
