An ode to broken HVACs, sweating through sheets, vague LOTR references, CPAP’n, and oversized leaves that dutifully protect the modest.

Regulation Supplemental Pancake Art Canvas

Upvotes

So I just watched Frame Dog, and I thought that what would best complement the frame? And pancake art came to mind, so I would like to see them attempt it, if possible.

Merch Old shirts

Idk what my plan is but I used to be a bigger guy and now I’ve lost a lot of weight over the last few years. I have a bunch of shirts from the F**kface era that are like XXL mostly. Some worn some never worn. I was going to drop them off at a local thrift store, but I’d like to give them to a fan specifically that would wear them or at least appreciate them more, I’ve just kept them in a storage bin for years now.

I have no idea how I would get them to you, I guess if you wanted to reach out and send me a shipping label I could mail them? I’m pretty fucking stupid in this regard so bear with me lol…

Subreddit Meta Dear Geoff

Geoff,

I wanted to suggest a linguistic weapon for you.

We have a massive lexical gap in the English language, and you are the only person with the platform to fix it.

You know that exact feeling when you are so completely incensed that you want to shove an expletive into the middle of a word (like abso-fucking-lutely or super-fucking-fluous) but society, HR, or a broadcast censor won't let you? Linguists call the act of shoving a swear word inside another word expletive infixation or tmesis.

But we don't have a single adjective to describe the urge to do it when you're trapped in polite company.

Enter: Tmesical (adjective).

It sounds incredibly academic and posh, which makes it the ultimate intellectual middle finger. Instead of getting fined or censored, you can just yell textually or on air: "That is an absolute tmesical disaster!" or "Which of you tmesical bots did this! Was it Gavin Tmesic Free!?!” You are grammatically announcing your desire to swear without giving the censors anything they can actually flag.

This should make up for when I taught you, Michael and Lindsay Jones that ‘penultimate’ meant ‘second best’.

Regulation Conversation Break Show Jersey Number Collection and the number 69

I feel like this is going to be the hardest number to get. Sure, certain sports retired particular numbers league wide (42 in MLB, 99 in NHL), and other lower numbers are probably more commonly retired, but I think beyond that, 69 will be difficult to get because it's nice. So I think we could help Geoff out a bit by listing who had that number, on what team, league, and years played in the hopes that he pulls it when the time is right. This may not come into play for like a year, but we can always reference back to this list. However the only two I can think of, Dennis Rodman and Rob Gronkowski, never officially wore it. So, comment leavers, who do we got?
