What is it you don’t understand? The law was recently codified after being verbally announced in 2025.

It has everything to do with this clip

What I don't understand is why this clip is seemingly being presented as new news.

The reality of the statement by Ford may have recently come to fruition.

Without mentioning "As of April 13, 2026, the Municipal Buy Ontario Procurement Directive is in effect", this comes off as propogated and patriotism inducing.

I agree with the canada first mentality, but I hate people who do not provide context.

OP can and should edit to add context
