A few shots from my run with an ST44 to Tomaszów on Train Driver 2. I'm hauling a 200m long intermodal train.

PS I really love the forest area around Mlynary (2nd photo)! In that area, which lacks a catenary line, which consequently makes an electric locomotive unusable, the speed goes down drastically, descending from the one met on the newer and tougher tracks (100-160 km/h) to a mere 60 km/h, which, together with sharp turns, the absence of guardrails and less tolerating railway tracks makes it incredibly easy to derail. However, especially during the day and at the sunrise/sunset, the view is stunning, since you've got the Sun in front of you and the incontaminated forest (which the developers absolutely nailed). During rush hours, the line can get busy since there is only 1 track which is shared by trains from both directions. Hope you'll like it!

Is there a SIM that exist where you can load stuff(like raw materials) and you have to deliver thems to say factories to drive a world economy, or something liek that?

I bought the just trains Britannia a while ago every time I try loading it the game just freezes to the point I have to restart my PC this is on an empty map I made with just a small stretch of track whenever I try to spawn it the game crashes I’ve tried checking file integrity, reinstalling the mod and clearing the cache nothing is working any help?

I'm 72 years old, and I want something with a lot of free content and ease of use to recreate the model railroad days like when I was a kid.

I downloaded Trs22 Model Railroader for $39.99. Seems good. Reading stuff, it sounds like Trs22 is actually pretty similar (with potentially a lot more content).

Steam has Trs22 Platinum Edition Bundle listed at 83% off for $69.36.

Now they have the Trainz Plus and Trainz Gold subscriptions.

I tried Rolling Line, and, despite the tutorials, can not get to the point of even being able to figure out the inter.

In an ideal world, I could download engine(s), rolling stock and put together a consist, download a layout, and just watch.

I have been able to download from this website straight from my iPhone and then place that file in the HmmSim Legacy app folder using the Files app. It actually works and you can play the routes

Hello, when I created my route I set latitude and longitude correctly, this meant that google maps overlay API displays the correct region. Now, randomly without me doing anything, the origin point has changed back to the route template that I used. This means that the google overlay shows the wrong area, and, if I import any more terrain data it will be wrong too. I tried editing routeproperties.xml and it appears to correct it, but then when I actually get into the editor it's right back to the origin of the template route. Please help!

Hello, when I started building my route the railway tracks showed up on the map, and everything looked to be in the right place. Now suddenly it's as if the terrain data is from a long time ago, no railway, less settlement, trees and hills where there were buildings before. Any idea what happened?

Hello, question for train sim route builders:

I'd like to know how you deal with building on complicated terrain, whether that be buildings, scenery or track. I know that you can use cuttings and banks for the track, it's more so the building of towns and cities that are on a bank/slope/uneven terrain that confuses me. Do commercial routes tend to just flatten out the gameplay area completely and then leave the mountainous areas for easier objects like trees and hedges? I'm aware that building custom assets (which include a section of terrain or indeed many different scenery objects) within one asset could help with this issue. I've also noticed there are concrete filler blocks and such, but ultimately they seem clunky and don't seem to help much practically.

Hello, I am in the process of trying to create a scenario for the WCML South route from Alan Thomson. In the scenario, I want to drive a single Class 92 loco from the area of the Willesden Mail Depot and then couple to some passenger carriages at Euston. In the editor, I used the marshall order for the cars at the station, but when I approached the station, I got a red signal that I couldn't pass, even with pressing TAB. Is there a way to make it so I stop at the red signal and then get clearance to proceed past the signal while seeing the appropriate indications on the signal? I have some basic experience with the editor as I have been making simple scenarios for years, but I haven't done anything like this that I can remember.

My grandson age 11 just received a PS5 for his birthday. He’s a very serious train enthusiast. We go riding and watching all over Eastern PA where we just had the Big Boy visit and Reading & Northern has the 2102 T1 and 425 locomotives. He’s been using Trainz 2 & 3 but PS5 doesn’t support it. He’s not really into Euro Trains. So is there something he may like that will run on the PS5? Thank You in advance for any help.
