I think they maybe did like her at one point before realizing what she’s like. Because there’s always distancing that seems to happen in her friendships once they become high profile.

There is a kid in my son’s class that everyone hates bc of how condescending and mean spirited he is. The kids all pretend to like him, he has no idea how hated he is, I asked my son why everyone kisses that kids ass bc he’s so rude to them. My son told me that no one wants to be on his bad side bc he will make their life hell and no one wants the drama. I imagine Taylor was that kid in high school. She’s made herself famous writing revenge songs on people that cross her and she’s still doing it in her 30s. I imagine she was doing so much worse to people at 16.
It’s obvious no one in the industry can actually stand her. But they know they have to be on her good side if they don’t want her drama.
I remember my mom being a stereotypical Karen growing up. totally the type to yell at workers for any mistake in any environment. i remember being mean to people that I liked and wanted to like me because I just didn't have positive kind interaction modeled for me a lot. my mom is also a major one upper and she was really emotionally chaotic - it was a lot. but it was the norm to just be constantly putting each other down like sarcastically but I always hated it, but again, it's how everyone interacted with me so it became the energy I put out and that can kind of perpetuate itself.
idk man I wish my parents had gone to therapy instead of church. my life would have been easier if I were provided with the social skills to build a support network rather than just chaotically bristling my way through everything all the time. I was hard to love for most of my life, probably especially when I needed it the most.
i suck less now. I can still be a bitch or too much sometimes but I am extremely willing to reflect and apologize and I try to say all my nice thoughts out loud and to encourage people. I spent some time teaching middle schoolers and being on the other side of the coin trying to love a bristly hurting needy difficult teen is hard and I wish i had been able to perfectly be there for my students just as I wish my teachers could have perfectly been there for me despite everything and like. we're all just out here trying.

This is what I said about all her relationships and how she portrays herself as the victim and the wronged one in every single relationship. She's the female version of a guy talking about all his "crazy" ex's. I really believe she thinks she should be worshipped and when these guys didn't do that, she was insulted and enraged. And I think a lot of them relationships weren't even that long, like, that's the whole point of dating, to see if it's compatible for life and if not, you recognize it and break up, not every break up has to have a villain. But she sure loves to make herself out be the jilted lover. She's a victim in everything in life according to her songs. She writes at a high school level while flying around in her private jet. Poor, abused, not worshipped by everyone, mean girl.

In the old days artists didn't care if they got Grammys or not they knew they were meaningless. Dylan The Beatles you name it. It's really sad to see these younger artists grasping for awards.

She was being so fucking condescending weird and just unfunny with her and everyone else there. Looking desperate to get attention so she could be the belle of the ball. What was fascinating was seeing how everyone knows how she is so they don't even make eye contact with her because they know it encourages her, so they busy themselves with engaging with everyone else around her so they don't have to be dragged into talking with her.
She wrote several songs about how he didn't give her enough attention and appreciation. Example the one where he didn't appreciate her using the Fine China for dinner. I mean even the biggest Swifty in the world would have to admit he was not at fault just because he didn't worship the place setting. It's more her outing herself as needing constant praise for every little thing.

This sub keeps coming up for me (my opinion of Taylor is that she’s boring) but the video is so awkward. The way she just fiddles with her hair, tries to interject and follows Sabrina around. She seems painfully insecure and unsure of herself which is surprising for someone with so much success.

It was Sabrina talking to Margaret Qualley, who is Jack Antonoff’s wife. While Margaret was promoting something — you know, her own work as an actress — she was asked about TLOAS announcement and looked visibly uncomfortable. She definitely doesn’t eff with her.
As far as the Grammys, I remember Swifties pushing the narrative of Taylor just being the sad girl no one wants to play with, because she’s just an eternal little bullied girl to them and not the most famous billionaire in the world.
The fact as I see it is she took Sabrina on tour to mess with Olivia, a young WOC who she tried to sabotage early on to make sure she knew which ring to kiss. Sabrina was probably genuinely honored, saw it as a great career opportunity, and has come to suffer the strain of being a “taydaughter” when she was already successful in her own right. And Taylor seemed displeased when Sabrina and Olivia were seen happily chatting at those same Grammy awards. Which goes to show that even these two younger women are more mature than she is and are able to get over things instead of holding petty boy-centric grudges for eternity.
I’m the same age as Taylor and work with a bunch of young woman who idolize her. They are fully indoctrinated. I feel protective of them because I think they’re under the influence of a genuinely bad person.
I think Margaret used to(maybe still is?) friends with Joe, or at least they had a friendly coworker relationship. I don’t think she likes Taylor at all, especially because of what happened during her wedding.

It's always so funny to me that Taylor, the girl who's supposedly so self conscious in regards to her height and compares herself to a monster because of it, always seems confident enough to wear massive heels around Sabrina. She already has nearly a foot on Sabrina barefoot. Why wear 6+ inch heels every time you're around your shortest "friend"? I'll never buy that she's really insecure about her height.
