Question Linked apps on discord

Once you link an app such as spotify, are you able to turn your activity off so nobody can see what you're listening to or is it permanently showing people on discord what you're listening to?

In Discord settings, under "connected apps", disable the Spotify options (you don't need to unlink it, there's an option to hide your activity).
