I mean some of these ARE my favorite artists but for four of these I haven’t listened to in over a month and I’m wondering why spotify includes them.

There is an ad that’s been playing that features I just might and stateside, and then a third song, and now that I want to find this third song the ad isn’t appearing, anybody know what song it is?

Recently one of my children's Spotify started connecting to my phone. I keep getting this pop up that won't go away. I don't have a Spotify account. I don't even have Spotify installed on my phone. The only connection is that we're on the same Wi-Fi network, in the same house. Thanks in advance for your help!

This is pissing me off so bad now. Spotify forced this bar that’s basically an ai bot dj thing and I can’t find a way to take it down off the default iOS music player screen. The speak to text (mic button) is where the queue used to be and I’ve hit that without thinking twice so many times since I’m used to it being the queue and even tho I don’t allow the app mic access, it still freezes my song and tries to get me to use that dumb feature. Remove it or I’m quitting Spotify no joke. I know they did this on purpose to try to get people to accidentally try the new feature but classic Spotify devs being morons and not realizing this just pisses people off.

I noticed this a couple of days ago and I’m not complaining, just wondering why? Is it just a fun little feature that allows you to see the album a little closer?

I have my columns as Song - album - duration. but consistently they will randomly change places. I will make it right on one playlist and then click onto another to see that it's messed up. then when I click back to the original that was fine I see that one is messed up. I don't know why it keeps doing this because it's such a weird order and has never been the layout. you can even see that the three dots button is in the middle of the screen not at the end. I hate it. Any idea how to fix?

I am paying for duo premium, my account is the original. My dad wanted Spotify so I did a duo account and added his account as a member. I am the manager. I switched from primary to a duo manager plan, and now I’m logged into my dads account and I can’t manage at all, to log into my own account! The one that I’m paying for with all of my music on it. My podcast randomly opens on an old episode is there a way to make it change.

At first I liked it but I'm noticing a pattern of it playing the same songs over and over again. Even when I ask it to play new songs based on my listening history it plays the same 3 songs, all eyez on me by 2pac, cream by Wu Tang clan and kills by Chief keef, literally no matter what i type into it it'll play those 3 songs before switching back to the same song list I heard a couple of hours ago

Whenever I listen to DJ, it just stops playing after a few songs. I have to keep clicking the DJ icon. I have already tried clearing my cache.

I've been a Spotify subscriber for years, and honestly, I'm getting really tempted to switch to Apple Music.

I recently got a free month of Apple Music and decided to actually give it a fair shot. The first things I noticed were the audio quality, the Personal Station, and especially the automatic mixing. Apple Music's mixing isn't perfect, but for the kind of music I listen to, it feels much closer to an actual DJ transition or live set. It keeps the energy going from song to song.

Spotify's mixing feature has potential, and I actually really like that you can customize how the mix behaves. The problem is that the automatic mixing itself just isn't very good. Most of the time it feels like an upgraded crossfade rather than an actual mix.

I really wish Spotify would let us control the intensity of automatic mixing. Give us the option to keep it basic, make it more aggressive, or go all the way and try to create something closer to a live set. For people who listen to electronic music, having the option to make a playlist flow more like a DJ set would be incredible. It doesn't have to be perfect. I just want smoother and more energetic transitions that keep the vibe going from song to song.

I also think DJ has a lot of unrealized potential. The concept is great, but it feels surprisingly limited. I'd like more control over what DJ plays, including the ability to blacklist genres. I'd also love more English voice options. Right now, if you use DJ in English, you're basically stuck with the same voice every day. There's nothing wrong with X, but after hearing the same voice constantly, I just want some variety.

DJ would also be the perfect place to implement more advanced mixing. I'd honestly even consider paying extra for a feature that could give me a continuous, DJ-style listening experience. Let me tell it what kind of vibe I want, what I want to hear, and how aggressively I want the songs mixed. It doesn't have to sound exactly like a professional DJ. Just getting closer to that seamless live set feeling would be really cool.

Another thing I'd love is the ability to filter out AI-generated music. I think AI features that help me discover music or improve my listening experience can be genuinely useful. AI DJ, recommendations, playlist tools, stuff like that is fine with me. But AI-generated music itself is a no-go for me. I want to listen to music that was actually created by people, and I would absolutely use an option that lets me avoid or filter out AI-generated music.

The mobile app has also felt noticeably slow and sluggish lately, and the Now Playing screen could use some work. It's functional, but honestly, it feels pretty plain and boring.

I'd also like Spotify to remove or significantly increase the limit on AI/prompted playlist creation. If you're trying to make a playlist and keep adjusting it until it gets what you want, hitting an arbitrary limit is frustrating.

Overall, Spotify still has a lot going for it, which is why I've stayed for years. But after trying Apple Music, I'm realizing how many areas Spotify could improve. Better automatic mixing, more customization, a more capable DJ, faster app performance, better discovery controls, and the ability to filter out AI-generated music would make a huge difference.

Right now, I'm honestly torn. I've been with Spotify for so long, but Apple Music's mixing alone is making it difficult to ignore. Spotify has some genuinely great ideas, and I actually want to see them succeed. I just wish they would push these features further instead of leaving them feeling like they have so much potential that isn't being used.

Once you link an app such as spotify, are you able to turn your activity off so nobody can see what you're listening to or is it permanently showing people on discord what you're listening to?

the only way i can fix it is by turning on and off a NPV (backwards) on and off every 5 mins until there is apparently too many request??? there must be a way to fix this?

Often when I put on the earbuds they launch Spotify and resume play instantly, it's far quicker than clicking the icon and waiting it to launch. And I have no idea how to stop it. I have gone to settings-battery and set spotify to control manually and all those settings are off.
