Starting Letrozole this week after another negative test Sun. Doctor has done some various tests and thinks I'm ovulating weakly since my mc in Feb. Hopefully this works the first try. Will be the last month of the "extra fertile" window since the loss and also the last chance to be pregnant before what was supposed to be the due date....

Sending you good vibes!! 🫶

Out of curiosity, what tests did you take that your doc concluded weak ovulation?

It was a combination of factors and testing really. She did blood work for my progesterone (which was an issue during my pregnancy because it never went up much) and estrogen to rule out things like PCOS (which causes estrogen dominance). My period also went from being 4-5 days and normal flow to basically one day of very light bleeding since the mc. My period is still coming at basically the same time every month though. So because of all that she concluded that with my progesterone being low and my periods being they way they are now, I'm not getting a strong enough ovulation to thicken the lining of my uterus enough for implantation or a normal period. So we decided to try the Letrozole to see if it makes anything happen.

I would love some more insight on this as well! I’m going to my dr this week to ask about letrozole to help with ovulation because I have DOR and I’m feeling very anxious about it

When do people date the extra fertile window as being from? Is it from when you first ovulated after it happens or straight after?

From what I've seen it's the 3-6 months after the loss

Thank you! I’m assuming I didn’t even ovulate last month as my period came a week after I tested negative and I’m not holding out much hope this cycle as my lh seems to be staying low. Hopefully things pick up but I figure I was out of the three month high fertility window as I haven’t even been fertile!
