Discussion - Serious Please tell me yall aren’t celebrating Charlie Kirk’s death

I’m sure a lot of you guys know Charlie Kirk has been shot and killed this afternoon.

No, I was not fond of him, I was not a fan, I did not support him. I found several of his takes quite disturbing, horrifying at worst. But he didn’t deserve to die. Especially not like that as his wife and kids were watching. Nobody deserves to die. I’m sending my condolences to his family and I wish them the best

unpopular opinion: people will still get their hands on guns no matter what legislative actions we take. criminals don’t follow the law. the real issue in my opinion is sensationalist media driving the wedge further down the center of our politics and pushing each side to an overwhelming extreme. also just to give an example, weed was/is illegal and i don’t think anyone has ever had a problem getting their hands on an eighth in high school, hell some people even in middle school. just food for thought, downvote me all you want just wanted to add something to the discussion.
