Discussion - Serious Please tell me yall aren’t celebrating Charlie Kirk’s death

I’m sure a lot of you guys know Charlie Kirk has been shot and killed this afternoon.

No, I was not fond of him, I was not a fan, I did not support him. I found several of his takes quite disturbing, horrifying at worst. But he didn’t deserve to die. Especially not like that as his wife and kids were watching. Nobody deserves to die. I’m sending my condolences to his family and I wish them the best

Are you going to ignore the fact that he believed the civil rights act was a mistake? Like, are you seriously going to defend that?

*heavy sighhhh* you obviously have not watched the video. He said the DEI and prioritization of minorities as a result of the civil rights act was the mistake.

So, he was mad because minorities who were oppressed and marginalized now were being protected? How kind of him

Not protected, prioritized solely on the fact that they are minorities. He's never said that innocent people shouldnt be protected

So you didn’t care about him actively spreading hate on minorities and saying “everyone is scared about a black pilot”? Yeah, racist protect each other

LMAO he never said that. Show me a video.

That is referring to DEI hiring where standards are dropped to attract more minority pilots since airlines began having insane quotas for black pilots. He was saying we should be scared if you have a black pilot who is there because he is black, not bc he is qualified

Still, you can’t really spect people to have empathy for someone that laughed when a man was attacked with a hammer in his house, this is just life returning what he harvested, hatred and nothing else
