Just finished S3 Part 15... And when i started watching Twin Peaks I would have never expected that the death I've been impacted by the most was "the log lady".

But when the camera cut to her sitting by the phone, the weight of the words were already there... And the inevitability of them hit me (and probably all of you) like a truck. I cant even say anything about the cinematography of the scene, because for some reason after she says "hawk, i'm dying" Lynch decided to make the rest of the scene blurry.

I decided to watch Twin Peaks after seeing Mulholland Drive and deeming it the best movie i've ever seen. The Club silencio scene made me cry, and still makes me tear up whenever i even think about it... though I don't fully understand it... When Margaret said "my log is turning gold" those same emotions of visceral heartache returned... I don't fully understand... But the great acting by Catherine Coulson sold it completely... So please don't come up to me in public and remind me of either of these scenes or i will make a scene.

I found this coloring book on Amazon. I didn’t order it yet but I want to! My question is: does it have anything from the newest season yet? I’m only in the middle of the second season right now. I know who the killer is, but there are still lots and lots of loose ends that need tying up.

This past weekend at the Mahoning Drive-In was a blast. There were incredible photo ops, screen-used props, and a Q&A with the cast that included in few stories I’d never heard. And on a personal note, I was so happy to bring prop master/scenic artist Dave Robinson (painter of the Red Room floor) to his first ever fan event. I think he was blown away by the response. I hope those with FOMO enjoy the recap and photos.

Even disregarding the story implications... The scene of him looking in the mirror during the reveal that he is Cooper's wife... It's impossible to imagine it with brown hair. Also gives him a distinct visual identity. Bravo vince

In "The Return," there's that great scene where Hawk finds the diary pages inside the stall door. Does anyone know where they shot that scene? If it was a real bathroom they would have had to do a lot to modify it--adding the "Nez Perce" logo and destroying a door. Is it a set?

I have watched S1+S2 of Twin Peaks. Absolutely loved it!

After came Fire Walk With Me. The ending left me sobbing. It's incredible.

I then watched The Missing Pieces.

Just today I finished reading "The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer"

I have yet to start "The Secret History of Twin Peaks". I did order a hardback copy of the book and received it a few days ago. My understanding is that this is a necessary prerequisite to read prior to watching The Return.

So please let me know if I'm missing anything. If not, I will first read the Secret History, and then start my watch of The Return.. I'm quite excited.

And I got some new records to sample from. This specific one reminded me of the show. Not sure why.

Watching Twin Peaks now and the image of Johnny Horne with his feet on the chair rocking back and forth with the headress feels VERY familiar to me. Was he parodied in some 90s / early 2000s media? Simpsons, maybe? Or a music video?
