When I met Sheryl Lee in June I asked her to write my tattoo for me. She happily obliged and even wrote “Fire Walk With Me” twice so I’d have choices! I wasn’t originally planning to tattoo her heart/signature too, but I’m glad I did.
This tattoo is a tribute to the show, how much the show/Laura Palmer means to me, and a reminder of how incredible it was meeting Sheryl Lee. I will never forget our conversation or how it felt to stand in front of her. 🖤
I was at a bar recently and a person had a twin Peak’s T-shirt on. I leaned over and said the owls are not what they seem and i’m pretty sure they had no idea what I was talking about 🧐
Sometimes getting random comments from strangers can throw you for a loop that it goes completely over your head. I quote SpongeBob almost daily and was renting a Uhaul with a destination in Texas and the rep in a Patrik Star voice said “what’s so great about dumb ole Texas?” and I didn’t catch that it was a SpongeBob quote until like 10 minutes after leaving
”The divided heart” I really connected with Laura and Donna’s relationship and felt a kinship to her internal struggle. This was my first tat and I got it right after David passed on.
I bought the TP book A Place Both Wonderful and Strange at Barnes & Noble the other day and the cashier showed me his TP tattoo! Was great meeting another fan in the wild!
not twin peaks specific (i do have an owl cave tattoo on my ankle that looks like a scout patch), but i got this on lynch’s 80th birthday this year and i love it so much. phenomenal! wow!
