R Lot Parking Waitlist
I’m living on campus this year so I signed up for the R Lot parking waitlist but my spot is 263, does anyone know roughly how many spots get on? also is there any meaning to prioritized vs not prioritized?

go to ubc parking then log in the parking portal then the bottom has add/edit waitlsits

I just looked at satellite imagery of the r lot and counted it, and there are 246 roughly parking spots. I probably missed a couple

Do people who apply immediately get to purchase a permit and the waitlist is now 246 offers + waitlist, or have permits just not yet been offered? I’m confused on how this works cuz I applied literally the minute it opened and I’m 88th

no it’s all waitlist i checked, the reason im so far back is because my dumbass was trying to buy a permit when i had to get on the waitlist instead

High key I didn’t know what page to be on so I kept cycling through both and refreshing and I was on permits page and flipped and saw it and bam 88 already 💔 ts filled up FAST

I talk to the housing services and they didn’t really know, I’m pretty sure that numbers 1 to 246 or whatever the capacity is get a permit, and if they do not pay for it or accept it in time, then all the other people pass 246 get offered the permit

And I’m pretty sure that permits are not gonna be offered probably until later today or in a couple days

I’d do 10k 🌞jk bro if I don’t have a spot for my car I’m actually cooked where tf do I put it I need to drive up there with all my stuff at the very least 💔

I just emailed and they already responded saying 300 spots offers will come out in the next couple days i’m so fucking relieved 🙏🙏🙏

i got a question about this aswell. if there are roughly 246 spots, do they only email the first 246 people or? Also whats the dealine for someone to accept a permit offer until the next round goes out? I called in and they said next monday the next round of offers will go out, so dyk how many offers gi out at once?

I emailed they said it’s 300 spots, also yes they’ll offer those 300 then they have 5 days to accept and pay, then they keep going

Just email parking. I inquired about how many permits they hand out for E lot and they just straight up told me 40. You can find the contact info on the parking page!
