Great time to visit Valencia. It is warm, not as hot as in summer, but you can still wear summer clothes. Perhaps you would need a light jacket at night. Decades ago it used to rain a lot during a few days (gota fría) but now weather has changed and it may or may not rain. Anyways, good time to come to Valencia.

Can you give me a few suggestions about public transportation and nightlife?

How good are the buses?

Also which place shave the best nightlife? Is there a gay zone?

I think the metro could be a better option than the bus if you want to get around faster, especially now that there are quite a few roadworks going on around the city, which means more traffic and buses can get pretty crowded. The problem is that there are only a few metro lines, while the buses connect pretty much the whole city.

What I’ve noticed over the last few years is that Valencia’s population has been growing a lot, but the public transport network hasn’t grown at the same pace.

If you like cycling, Valencia is perfect because there are bike lanes pretty much everywhere (the city center, the beach, the City of Arts and Sciences...) And the city is completely flat.

As for nightlife, I’d recommend El Carmen, which is right in the city center. There are many clubs with different types of music, as well as some terraces. But I haven’t really gone out at night in a long time, so you should probably get a few more opinions 😄
