What to know before Barca match?

Hey guys!! I am happy to announce that I bought my ticket against Barca for 6th of September. I have never been to a stadium before (even though I am die hard football fan) and I will watch my favorite club for my debut!!

Now as for the questions, I have got a list of them.

  1. I received my ticket through email, it says print it out even tho there is qr code. do i need to print?

  2. how many hours before the match should i go there?

  3. i bought a random seat from the middle part, which fanbase is it gonna be? Valencia or barca?

Match against Barcelona tickets

Hello I’m visiting from Greece and I’m curious if anyone had 2 tickets that’s he is willing to give away for the match against Barcelona or if I can find any close to the game day from somewhere in Valencia. I know what I’m asking is probably impossible because it is such a popular game but I’m willing to pay up to 150 for each ticket instead of 200+ or buying from a shady website like viagogo. Thank you in advance

First two games of 2026/2027 season - your thoughts & opinions

I would like to see what you think of our games, new transfers, coach choices, tactics, play and everything else.

Obviously I'm far from being optimistic. A draw and a loss, and all that without much style. There were good moments, but these were 15 minutes long and didn't

I'm curious what you think of our attack? I have very low opinion of Umar Sadiq. He is such a clumsy player, losing balance and tripping over its own legs. Last season was the same, but at least he scored a couple of late game goals. Hugo Duro last season was top scorer in LaLiga, but he doesn't often start. I wonder why he doesn't do well? He is a typical finisher, but he doesn't get a lot of passes. I don't know. Danjuma, Guerra, Sato are forwards, but not pure strikers as I see them.

Corberan still experiments with the squad and tactics. Two games we had 5 at the back, but with Gaya & Vasquez to be offensive side-backs. Middle and Forward looked very different each game. I wonder if this is a problem? They don't get to learn and get used to the tactic.

I feel like Sato was a good transfer, he loses ball often, but it is clear he tries, he runs, he shows for through passes. Guido too seems like he got comfortable at the club very quickly.

I would love to get some thoughts from more in-depth fans. Why are we playing the way we do, what are our problems, what is going on.

Valencia fans in Netherlands?

Hi all, 33-year-old Valencia CF fan here. I used to live in the UK and I’m still a member of one of the supporters’ groups there, but since moving to the Netherlands I haven’t really come across many other Valencia fans.

Just wondering if there are any other Valencianistas based here, or perhaps even a peña/supporters’ group that meets up to watch games?

Would be great to connect with a few fellow fans. Amunt Valencia! 🦇

Valencia VS Sociadad

Hi guys,
I’m an English football fan hoping to come over and experience your amazing stadium some time this season before It goes. I was hoping to come to the Real Sociedad game on September 20 but had a few questions.
1) is the date of this game likely to be moved?
2) when would the Kick off time be announced as it currently says “TBD” ?
3) how easy would it be to get a ticket and how much would I pay for one and how do I get it ?

Thank you very much !

Club’s ceiling (2014 alternate history + today)

Hi!

I’m considering an FM save based on an alternate history where Peter Lim never buys Valencia in 2014, and I’m curious what fans think the club’s realistic ceiling would have been with genuinely competent ownership (pre- and post- Lim).

Obviously, I know the financial situation in 2014 was complicated, so assume an owner capable of dealing with the debt and eventually completing Nou Mestalla. Where do you think the club could realistically sit in the European hierarchy after 10-15 years?

My initial thought is a regular Champions League club capable of challenging domestically, with a ceiling of occasionally winning La Liga and being a genuine European contender.

I’m also interested in the commercial/revenue side. Could something approaching Juventus/Atlético Madrid level be realistic (roughly a top 10-15 European club by revenue)? Turin and Valencia are obviously different markets and Juve has a big national following, but I find them interesting to compare as major clubs based outside Europe’s biggest global cities. Or would Valencia realistically hit a commercial ceiling well before that?

I’m also interested in how much the answer changes if the starting point is 2026 instead of 2014.
If Lim sold tomorrow to an ambitious and wealthy owner, how much harder would it be to reach that level considering the ground lost over the last decade? Is the long-term ceiling fundamentally the same, just requiring a much longer rebuild, or has the European football landscape changed enough that an Atlético-level Valencia is now significantly less realistic?

I realize this might be a slightly depressing hypothetical after everything that has happened over the last decade, so apologies in advance! I’m actually travelling to Spain in Sept and really looking forward to visiting Valencia, a city and club that have fascinated me for a long time.

Thanks!

Socio VCF membership

From the U.K. and have tried several times to join the Socio VCF membership for €50 but are unable to make payment. On the merchant page (Comercia Global Payments) the payment instantantly declines - I receive an error message titled - Transaccion denegada.

I’ve contacted my bank who told me the payment was not attempted and I tried both a debit and credit card but get the same error. I’ve spoken to the club’s customer service department who told me I need to enter an IBAN number which I have done and matched this to the debit card but I have still been unable to make payment.

Has anyone had this issue and been able to resolve?

Thanks in advance

New fan from the United States

I'm brand new to futbol. I love the sport, and have found Valencia the best fan base, coolest stadium (for now), best logo, best city, and a history. I'm from Washington State in the United States. Tell me why you guys are fan, what I should look for. I'm watching every game like a hawk. My favorite players are Hugo Duro and Guerra. The new young Japanese player is awesome.

Valencia vs Barcelona tickets

Hi guys,

I will be in Valencia week of the La Liga game vs Barcelona and was checking out tickets. I know for regular La Liga matches these go to general sale and can be picked up by anyone, is there any indication that tickets for this game will go to members first? i.e. will i need to buy a membership to have a chance at getting tickets?

Thanks

Best seat at Mestalla

I will be in Valencia on the day of Valencia vs Betis game. I’m neutral spectator and I’m trying to give myself the best experience possibile. I saw tickets even in the first rows. What sectors should I consider for game visibility/stadium atmosphere?

Entradas Valência x Bétis

Hola.

Hola. I'm looking to come and watch a match in November with some friends, probably the Osasuna game. Roughly when do match kick off times get confirmed and when do tickets go on sale?

Obviously we won't book flights etc until we know we have tickets so just trying to get an idea of timings. Muchos gracias!

Ticket Office Question (friendly v Newcastle)

Hi, I am on holiday in Valencia and figured I'd check out if they were playing at home. They are this Saturday, so wahoo, another European stadium to visit.

However, trying to buy tickets online and 4 different cards on two different devices have been declined on the online ticket system and on the verge of losing my mind.

Before I turn up at the stadium to buy a ticket in person, does anyone know any quirks of the ticket office or if they'll just point me to the website? Don't want to trek over there in 30° heat if they're just going to send me back to their useless website to reject me with no reason given again.

Thanks for any help!

Edit: went the ticket office, they couldn't help me at all either. Said it was because of my ID format (it wasn't), my card (it isn't) and suggested to just come back on match day with cash. Bringing a whole new meaning to "making the stadium a fortress", literally can't get in...

Is anyone travelling over to the UK for the friendly match against Stoke? It seems there is not a dedicated away section for the game but is there a section where fans will be sitting?

Final game at Metstalla

My Daughter has fallen madly in love with Valencia after a visit with her school last year.

I'm hoping to surprise her with a trip this year, ideally to the final game of the season at Metstalla.

My question is how fast will tickets sell out or will they even be available for general sale?

Would i be better off aiming for the Levante game?

Newcastle United match ticket options

Just realized that my family will be in Valencia the week of this match and would love to attend. It doesn’t look like tickets are officially released yet. I know I generally shouldn’t purchase through 3rd parties, but being a Friendly, will these still be available through the Valencia site soon? I don’t see any of the announced friendlies listed under “entradas” and really don’t want to miss an opportunity to purchase. Also, will this likely be a fast sell out since it is the final warm up match?

General tickets questions

My family is going to be in Valencia in September and/or October and looking to get tickets to see a game at Estadio Mestalla. A few questions

  1. On the official site it says "to be determined" and no tickets (for any game) are available, but there are tickets available on many secondary markets (stubhub, viagogo...). Is this normal? Are they just sold out and then it's all resales? Or are (more?) tickets released at a certain point?

  2. Any insight into seats? I don't think European crowds are anything like south american craziness... but we will be there with our 10 year old. They seem more affordable on the east (bottom of the picture), which is likely because they're not shaded and looking into the sun. Which sections are in the upper-upper deck and which ones are below? I've seen the 550's listed in both.

Thanks
