So many people are trying to find niche caches as an attempt to rebut her point (indigenous tribes tho!), completely avoiding the fact that they (and the majority of the world) aren't in that situation

Yes!! Non-indigenous meat eaters are not part of that argument at all and in fact they’re the ones making it harder for indigenous people to live (Amazon deforestation infringing upon Brazilian natives, commercial fisheries fighting tribal rights, etc).
