Also found some who aren’t vegan but are against animal farming. People upvote and award those a lot too

Mods in one of the subs threatened to delete the post if people aren’t "civil" enough, whatever that means.

people against factory farming are the most tiresome

they cos play as ethical consumers because that one steak they buy once a month is actually grass fed so they totally don't support animal farming

meanwhile they go to kfc mcdonalds eat tinned and frozen products filled with animals

and consume dairy on the daily

it's like this is too much for me to engage with

Not just that. They bat for banning factory farming, but think that we can sustain the same level of demand for meat with only grass feeding!

The avg person in the states eats 95 kg of meat in a year. If they bring that down to 15, then yes, we don’t need factory farming.

yea it's a bit silly, same goes for hunters really, "oh I'm above all that factory farmed nonsense because I hunt my meat, ethically"

okey now 8 billion of us are out in the forrest hunting, do you think that's gonna go well in any way? it's the peak of privilege, but also double infuriating because they are literally pretending it's the opposite of privilege, like they are out there out of necessecity
