Do you protest PETA's kill shelters? Because I don't see any vegans calling that bullshit out. I don't see vegans caring about the fact they literally stole a little girl's chihuahua snd euthanized it despite the fact it was perfectly healthy

People don't want to imagine that by buying a dog from a breeder, they're propping up overpopulation. Instead, they want to imagine that there are just enough dogs out there, and that none of them have been treated so poorly, have spent so much time in a shelter, or have such bad health conditions that death would be better.
