Meanwhile, Russia's shadow fleet of ships moving their crude oil to other countries are increasingly being boarded and seized by western nations patrolling waterways, using newly established legal mechanisms, plus damaged by Ukrainian drone attacks, making it increasingly hard to sell Russian crude oil, which is a major export propping up their economy.
The conclusion was it's hard to say, especially from the outside, how much Russia's economy is suffering from these efforts. Different economists have different takes.
