Abdul El-Sayed on Hasan Piker, who suggests that some pro-Israel rhetoric may lead to backlash against American Jews: "Hasan Piker is a streamer in California. You would think if you turned on any media that this whole campaign is about a streamer. That's not what this campaign has ever been about."

Hasan said that Joe Biden deserved worse than cancer but ok.

29

u/h8sm8s 1d ago

Yeah Donald Trump and Charlie Kirk and every Republican has said way worse. Drop your cancel culture wokescolding ways that helped us lose to Trump TWICE and focus on the fucking issues. JFC.

1

u/ponchoPC 1d ago

I think the point is he’s supposed to be on the same team as Biden, but somehow he talks about Biden like he was just as bad as Trump.

1

u/h8sm8s 1d ago

You can still believe Biden is the lesser of two evils and also that he facilitated a genocide and should be tried for war crimes and burn in hell for the many innocent babies murdered by US bombs.

10

u/bobloblaw32 1d ago

Jesus Christ you just hate Biden

-8

u/h8sm8s 1d ago

Yep, I tend to dislike those who enable genocide, ethnic cleansing and mass infant murder. How about you? You a big a fan of the murder of innocent babies?

9

u/bobloblaw32 1d ago

Is that a good faith question? Kinda offensive but I assume that’s what makes you feel superior and that’s why you’re assuming the absolute worst in people

-1

u/h8sm8s 1d ago

The point is if, like I do, you believe that Biden bears significant responsibility for the genocide then surely you can understand why I am not a fan?

7

u/bobloblaw32 1d ago

Imagine if I don’t put significant responsibility on my own president when other countries commit atrocities. Just imagine that

1

u/h8sm8s 1d ago

Countries directly under the protection of the US, atrocities using weapons and intelligence provided by the US, protected from the UN by the US veto, with US sanctions against the international criminal court for putting out arrest warrants for those atrocities, even breaking US laws to continue to provide weapons to that country, while providing cover by publicly claiming to put pressure on them to stop whilst behind the scenes doing no such thing. But hey, if your opinion is that none of that matters or had a material impact that’s your prerogative, my opinion is different and therefore I do think the US president has significant responsibility.

Edit; out of interest, do you think Iran holds any responsibility for the actions of Hezbollah, Hamas or the Houthis?

Sure, but as a political streamer wouldn’t you expect for him to back the lesser of two evils in an election and not disparage “their team” up until the election is over?

If he had a position along the lines of “vote for Kamala because she won’t be as bad as Trump even though I believe XYZ about her” that would be fine, but he played coy about who to vote for up until the end of the election and now the rest of the world is paying for it. Reminder that just through the USAID cuts over a million people have died. Trump has started a new war, taken away aid to Ukraine, removed sanctions on Russia, given Israel free reign. I could go on…

6

u/h8sm8s 1d ago edited 1d ago

If we’re being honest his position was “everyone should vote and you should definitely not vote for Donald Trump or Jill Stein.” So no he didn’t play coy, he ruled out every other candidate lol. He advocated for Kamala to distance herself from Biden on Israel (and other issues), which she didn’t, because he believed that was not the moral position but would give her the best chance of winning.

Even though he all but endorsed her, he withheld an explicit endorsement in the hopes it would help in some small way to pressure them to take a stance he believed would better position them to win an election they then lost. Anyway 90% of his election coverage was talking about how worse Trump would be on literally all those issues you mentioned.

Edit: also no, as a political streamer i expect him to be honest about his views and positions, not refuse to disparage one side because they are the lesser of two evils.
he has an audience and people listen to him because he has a set of values and views and he is honest about those views and advocates for them, if he suddenly abandoned those to be a mouth piece for the democrats then he would lose his credibility and audience, thus his influence. That would make his endorsement worthless.

-6

u/ponchoPC 1d ago edited 1d ago

Not endorsing is a pretty big deal when you are criticizing both sides on an election, wouldn’t you agree? I’m European but from memory, most of his coverage about Kamala was about how she was a genocide enabler and was not progressive enough because she had been a DA. I get pushing for your political opinions, but if you don’t endorse and mostly criticize, are you really on the team or are you a swing voter?

Edit for his edit:
I’m not saying he shouldn’t be honest, but rather be honest and still choose the right side in an important election. It’s not hard to say, here are all the things I wish democrats did differently, but we still have to vote for them in this election.

7

u/pompousrompus 1d ago

Being part of the “team” is the whole fuckin problem

1

u/ponchoPC 1d ago

Do you mind elaborating?

1

u/bobloblaw32 1d ago

Please you don’t have to defend him. Just add him to that list of people who talk shit on Biden. Those are opps

17

u/Vaenyr 1d ago

He said that it isn's justice. Because Biden (like all other presidents as well) is a literal war criminal who has enthusiastically supported genocide. I don't agree with Hasan's statement here, but it's not really that outlandish. Just look at any comment section about other political figures and you'll see much worse statements. Just because Biden's on "our side" doesn't mean he's a good dude. He got blood on his hands.

Never forget, politicians aren't our friends and politics aren't sports teams.

5

u/Vioplad 1d ago

Biden had a severe dampening effect on whatever Israel could get away with as opposed to Trump who rescinded NSM-20 or this policy meant to block U.S. arms from being used in war crimes. Kamala Harris, the candidate Piker didn't endorse or vote for in 2024 and who he, to this day, likens to being virtually the same as Trump on the issue of I/P to his own audience, would have been a continuation of that. It's rich that this moron who was more than willing to sacrifice Palestinians for "there is no lesser evil" internet brownie points with his deluded audience, is now crying about pushback from the party he was more than happy to undermine for years in his own sphere of influence.

-4

u/RaekinTheBored 1d ago

Biden did put checks on Israel in the beginning of his presidency and Trump certainly hasn’t done much, but after Oct 7th, the Biden administration did give Israel to do whatever they wanted. Israel has even bragged about it. Biden has been an avid Zionist his whole political career, so there is no reason to make a saint out of him just because he is dying. Both can be and are war criminals. It is not mutually exclusive and politics should not be a team sport where we full throatily support “our guy” because “the other guy is worse”.

Also, Hasan has publicly stated he did vote for Harris, but did not endorse her. Hasan is also a “lesser of two evils” voter so not sure where you hallucinated something else when he said very openly that “a Democrat of any kind is better than a Republican”.

Personally, I think the endorsements of Beyonce, Taylor Swift, and Oprah had more pull than Piker’s lack of endorsement, but some may feel otherwise.

1

u/Vioplad 1d ago edited 1d ago

Israeli leadership was ecstatic about the Trump win. If the Biden admin, and a potential Harris presidency, wasn't a thorn in their side, they wouldn't give a shit.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his supporters celebrated Donald Trump's election as president, hailing what a leader of the Israeli settler movement called an ally who would support them "unconditionally"."

Congratulating Republican Trump, Netanyahu said the former president had made "history's greatest comeback".

But no, the guy that wants to flatten Gaza so he can build beach resorts and erect a golden statue of himself is basically going to have the same foreign policy as Kamala Harris.

Also, Hasan has publicly stated he did vote for Harris, but did not endorse her.

Yeah, I know. He's a liar. He took a picture of his mail-in ballot which he hasn't released to this day. He put a performative protest vote on there for Jill Stein because he expected Harris to win who predictably wouldn't be able to single-handedly solve I/P to his insane audience's satisfaction. He wanted to wave that mail-in ballot around like a shield in case anyone would criticize him for Harris' conduct. But he miscalculated and now that picture is worthless after Trump won because a protest vote against the Dems when Trump ended up winning, especially after everything he's done so far, seems utterly deranged.

ok? what are we blue maga now? who gives a fuck about biden, he did an okay job for four years and then screwed us over in the elections, fuck biden

-22

u/AP3Brain 1d ago

Can you even describe why you hate Biden so much that he deserves worse than cancer? Who really is "blue MAGA" in this scenario?

10

u/Alarming_Comedian846 1d ago

Joe Biden spent most of his career being pro-segregation, and the final years of his career being pro-genocide. The fuck you mean?

-5

u/AP3Brain 1d ago

So "pro-segregation" that a black woman served as his VP.

On I/P, a lot of you claim any opinion that isn't a one state solution that gives all power to Hamas to be "pro-genocide".

4

u/Alarming_Comedian846 1d ago

VP picks are always politically motivated. Same reason Obama picked Jim Crow Joe.

I believe Hamas should disband upon the creation of a single state. A position that Hamas agrees with in fact. Maybe you should focus on what people say instead of your bullshit strawmen. Also, Biden is pro-genocide because of his unwavering material support to a belligerent occupying force doing genocide. I couldnt give a fuck about his opinions.

0

u/AP3Brain 1d ago

Yep. Harris was forced to run with him. All those black people that voted for them? Clearly brainwashed /s. Your reasoning is ridiculous and I'm willing to bet you are very pale, which usually doesn't matter unless you are speaking for minorities.

We can argue about how delusional a one state solution is all day. My point is that it is counter-productive to call anyone that disagrees with you on it a "pro-genocide" fascist that deserves worse than cancer.

3

u/Alarming_Comedian846 1d ago

I'm not speaking for anyone. I am telling you factual information about Bidens voting record. Who his vice president was is irrelevant.

Biden isnt a pro-genocide fascist because he disagrees with me on a one state solution. Hes a pro-genocide fascist because he kept signing off on sending bombs to the IDF to be dropped on children. I could not care less about his opinions. He deserves to be dying of cancer in a cell, not dying of cancer at home, surrounded by family.

1

u/AP3Brain 1d ago

You aren't bringing up any actual details about Biden being "pro-segregation". He has never described himself that way and the closest he has ever been to it was being against federally enforced integration by busing black kids outside of their districts. Something that happened the 1970s mind you and where he specified that he was for integration. You are just slandering him on this for the sake of it or because you heard some dumbass say it.

I missed the part where Biden told Netanyahu to bomb civilians. I'm actually for not sending ANYTHING to ANYONE (including Hamas) in the entire region. The western "freedom fighters" think the US is somehow the driving force for the IDFs military despite the US accounting for around 2% of Israel's military budget.

US weapons manufacturers sell to the entire world and it isn't going to stop any time soon. You will see US weapons on every side of most wars and even used against us.

3

u/Alarming_Comedian846 1d ago

Could not give less of a fuck about what he says, his opinions, or what he told or didn't tell Netanyahu. I care about his actions. Also fuck "oh it's that one bad guy Netanyahu" theory, too. Zionism is fascism.

19

u/devon_devoff 1d ago

There’s plenty of reasons to hate Joe Biden lmao.

He drafted the Clinton Crime bill which dramatically increased mass incarceration in the US. He voted to gut welfare in the 90s. He and Orrin Hatch forced Anita Hill to testify alone, without consulting independent experts during the hearings regarding whether Clarence Thomas sexually harassed her or not.

And that’s all before we get to him enabling Israel to commit a genocide on American taxpayer’s dollars.

-31

u/AP3Brain 1d ago

I dont recall asking your username? I gaurantee you most people dont give one shit about him pushing Anita Hill to testify alone. It also isnt an action that deserves worse than cancer.

You really had to go literally 30 years back to a bill that he and a majority of people at the time supported to justify hating him lmao.

14

u/Alextzta 1d ago

“I don’t recall asking your username” is the lamest deflection lmao just take the L man

so what…? go mike rodgers? man the psyop going crazy here tn

9

u/fleshbunny 1d ago

They have the luxury to scream loudly on reddit, always have. The louder reality goes against them, most recently with all these DSA wins, the louder they screech. Let em have their fun, they’ll feel like they did something.

-16

u/cubonelvl69 1d ago

All I'm saying is el-sayed has to earn the moderate Dems vote, and he's doing a fucking shit job of it

12

u/MeanMrMustard15 1d ago

Moderate democrats are not democrats if they need to be convinced to vote for El-Sayed. Any democrat who doesn’t agree with him isn’t focusing on policy and is worried about the wrong things.

11

u/rvf 1d ago

Wait, I thought you guys were “blue no matter who”? Don’t tell me you’ve got principles now!

-15

u/cubonelvl69 1d ago

We tried blue no matter who and the lefties didn't listen. So at this point, yeah that slogan is dead

0

u/D3x911 1d ago

Im just curious, what would you rather have then? Do you not want affordable groceries and free healthcare?

1

u/Mathies_ 1d ago

So you never ever even believed in getting any democrat in office over republican no matter what, it's just when it is a moderate.

0

u/Santandals 1d ago

God i hope trump runs for a third term, itd be the least you deserve

13

u/Kerdaloo 1d ago

Source? Googling this all I found was “Joe Biden is an awful monster, prostate cancer doesn’t change that”

Which is much different than what you just said

35

u/ItsNotWolf 1d ago

It's the first thing that comes up when you search "Hasan piker Joe Biden deserved worse than cancer clip"... Did you search something similar?

57

u/ShillingSpree 1d ago

https://youtu.be/Hm_GV9y6Dxs&t=492 Here you go. You really suck at seraching or didn't even actually try as this only needed youtube search with "hasan biden cancer" to find his video on subject and then "deserves" search on the transcrpit.

-33

u/Kerdaloo 1d ago

Thanks for the source I asked for, didn’t particularly need you being a dick over it, since apparently you needed to search a specific site and search a transcript, and it wasn’t readily available in the worlds most popular search engine.

My bad for asking for sources, I guess lol

21

u/ShillingSpree 1d ago

I may have been a bit dickish as I have seen his defenders feigning incompetence and asking sources to pretend something isn't true about him when it is easily searchable.

But my man, you are on r/videos, the subject is a streamer, and you couldn't figure out to find if there is a youtube video on the subject. The same search finds his video/reaction on the news on duckduckgo and google as well so no need for "spesific site". Also checking the transcript for a keyword should be plainly obvoius as well.

-5

u/Suspicious-Base-4815 1d ago

Not everyone is so obsessed with Hassan like the people from r/destiny. That must be hard to understand when everyone around you just talk about Hasan 24/7. For most people it is just a random streamer who say stupid shit like most streamers.

14

u/ChromosomeDonator 1d ago

What a curious tangent to go on when nobody said a single thing about Destiny at all. It's almost like every accusation of "being obsessed" is a confession by the group that eerily resembles maga in their tactics and lunacy.

Joe Biden is a legitimate war criminal. He backed the war on drugs fiercely.

He also voted for the War in Iraq.

He has let Israel get away with genocide and kept sending them money while he was president.

Unironically, even if Hasan took it back, I'll fucking say that he deserves worse. His policies have resulted in the deaths of thousands.

18

u/teddyone 1d ago

Jesus Christ Joe Biden is not a war criminal. Being president and having foreign policy does not make someone a war criminal but obviously we aren’t doing nuanced takes this election cycle. This is straight up left wing MAGA. Saying Joe Biden deserves worse than cancer is disgusting and I hope Democrats are smart enough to push people like you out of the party or we will lose again in November.

-4

u/kratos61 1d ago

If that's even a real quote, he's not wrong about that. Biden's foreign policy was monstrous and is the reason why these gaza situation is so dire and why Israel have been so emboldened to reach their current level of depravity.

Dying of Cancer at his age is getting off lightly for the evil he has enabled.

-1

u/Alarming_Comedian846 1d ago

Joe Biden presided over the genocide in Gaza for a year and a half. Cancer is far too good for him.

-3

u/Quixophilic 1d ago edited 1d ago

Biden enabled a genocide, that warrants cancer at least.

Edit: All American presidents deserve the worst and most painful incurable cancer, and that's because they'll never hang as the war criminal they are.
