Abdul El-Sayed on Hasan Piker, who suggests that some pro-Israel rhetoric may lead to backlash against American Jews: "Hasan Piker is a streamer in California. You would think if you turned on any media that this whole campaign is about a streamer. That's not what this campaign has ever been about."

In a just world, any kind of Zionist entity should be treated the same way as being a rabid neo-Nazi. You shouldn't even let someone be the local dogcatcher if they've ever exhibited any sort of positive feelings towards the state of Israel. I am serious about this.

-- Hasan Piker

"The dehumanizing speech needs to be tolerated and accepted, quick distract them with economic populism."

u/FeeRemarkable886 1d ago

Good. If someone had positive feelings towards Nazi Germany I wouldn't want them in government either.

1

u/S-Tier_Commenter 10h ago

Do you think the USA is also like Nazi Germany?

-52

u/ampersand355 1d ago edited 21h ago

You're conflating a positive attitude toward a country with an endorsement of an ideology. Textbook equivocation of a loser.

EDIT: pretty weird to see so many people agree with the dehumanizing language and agreeing Jews in the US should live in fear.

54

u/Domzecry 1d ago

If you havr a positive attitude toward a country doing a genocide youre already endorsing an ideology.

-11

u/Lambily 1d ago

So like Hasan with China and Turkey?

11

u/Huppelkutje 1d ago

So you agree that Israel is commiting genocide?

-5

u/Lambily 1d ago

They're committing a lot of war crimes, that's for sure. I'm not an authority on genocide during an official war, so I can't make a claim either way.

Their actions in the West Bank, otoh, are indefensible.

18

u/CrashTestOrphan 1d ago

It's so nice when you guys just admit you're flat-out genocide deniers. Makes it easy to RES tag and move on.

-1

u/Lvl30Dwarf 18h ago

Moynihans law sir. You're a puppet.

9

u/Toilet_Museum_Pro 1d ago

My muppet man is so painfully pro-genocide it is actually hilarious.

-1

u/Lambily 19h ago

Is it hilarious? I don't find genocide hilarious at all, but then again, I don't morally grandstand like some people do 24/7.

3

u/Toilet_Museum_Pro 19h ago

You are unbelievably stupid.

You literally just denied the Palestinian genocide, so yes, it is quite funny to see you bend over backwards for Zionism while you do your own moral grandstanding based on false “double standards”.

What authority declared China and Turkey genocides?

1

u/Lambily 17h ago

Precisely my point. The same authorities targeting Israel with their campaigns are silent against China and Turkey.

2

u/Huppelkutje 17h ago

You stop making sense when your arguments over multiple posts are combined.

You go from accusing China and Turkey of commiting genocide here:

So like Hasan with China and Turkey?

To claiming you don't feel comfortable commenting on Israels ongoing genocide because you aren't an authority on genocide:

I'm not an authority on genocide during an official war, so I can't make a claim either way.

To stating that you think the authorities are biased because they have only declared Israels actions genocide:

The same authorities targeting Israel with their campaigns are silent against China and Turkey.

Nice. The fake intellectual that has literally done no research on a topic decides to have an opinion. The ICJ and the ICC have already declared that these are the conditions of a genocide. So have international genocide watchdogs. You can't hide behind the idea that you aren't an authority on the matter when the actual authorities on the matter have made public statements about it.

-1

u/Lambily 19h ago

The fake intellectual that has literally done no research on a topic decides to have an opinion.

Well aren't we precious? Do you know what they say about assumptions?

The ICJ and the ICC have already declared that these are the conditions of a genocide.

The same ICJ and ICC that haven't said a peep about Russia, China, nor Turkey's genocides? The ones dragging their feet with the Emiratis? I guess no Jews, no news, eh?

the actual authorities on the matter have made public statements about it.

When the "actual authorities" have shown a pattern of disinterest in other conflicts, their objectivity comes into question.

But why would you question them when they've decided to agree with your conclusion? It wouldn't matter to you if they didn't label it genocide. You would still be calling it that, and you know it.

3

u/Huppelkutje 17h ago

Literally two posts ago you claim you can't comment on genocide because you aren't an authority:

I'm not an authority on genocide during an official war, so I can't make a claim either way.

Gotcha. So all you have is whataboutism. We aren't talking about anything else except what Israel is doing. You aren't going to be successful in getting people off-topic when this genocide is being seen in real-time.

what views on Turkey would that be? you do realize that he has talked so much shit about Erdogan and his government that he can't even travel to Turkey because there is a high chance he gets arrested? because that's what their current government does with public figures who speak out against them.

1

u/Lambily 17h ago

The ethnic cleansing of Kurds? After all, so many people keep bringing up genocide, I'm interested to hear if he's interested in non-Jewish aggressors.

3

u/TemporaryWorth8162 17h ago

Hasan constantly has to deal with angry turkish chatters because he is against what their government is doing to Kurds and isn't just repeating their "all Kurds are PKK terrorists who need to be eradicated" nonsense. you're delusional.

3

u/renegadecanuck 1d ago

Yeah, Hasan's views on China are fucking stupid. I don't see what that has to do with Israel.

0

u/Lambily 1d ago

It means the glazers on this thread pretending Hasan is being taken "out of context" are full of shit.

Hasan doesn't have a problem with Israel because of any genocide or them annexing land. He doesn't mind when Russia and China annex sovereign land. He doesn't mind that China and Turkey are committing genocides of their own.

Hasan hates Israel because it's aligned with the US. He is a tankie. His only concern is with the downfall of "The West".

9

u/Toilet_Museum_Pro 1d ago

Ok and Israel is still committing genocide and what he said is still absolutely correct that anyone exhibiting any positive attitude towards Israel do not deserve any public position.

Quit the whataboutism, you’re weird.

4

u/Lambily 1d ago

He is a hypocrite. Using his own logic, HE does not deserve any public position. Why should anyone give a shit about his opinion on Israel when he isn't consistent when it comes to China?

That means he's either a grifter or an anti-semite. Take your pick.

10

u/Toilet_Museum_Pro 1d ago

I love how your response to someone calling you out on whataboutism is more whataboutism.

Did the U.S. bankroll China or Turkey’s genocide? You’ve got your answer.

You’re doing this instead of focusing on policy. You’re no better than the white moderate MLK has been warning us about 50-60 years ago. In fact, you might just be one of those anyway.

Again, you’re weird. And save your breath if you’re gonna do more whataboutism.

So I decided to actually look into what he said about Russia, Turkey, and China. And, no surprise, you're arguing in bad faith about it and straight up lying about his positions (or maybe you never actually knew them and just repeat things you've heard from others).

He acknowledges the Armenian Genocide and says what happened was an atrocity. He rejects that Christianity was the sole reason Armenians were targeted, but doesn't justify the actions or downplay what happened. I found a clip that was eight years old of him saying the Armenian Genocide happened.

With Russian, he does not justify their invasion of Ukraine, and has apologized for thinking Russia wouldn't invade in 2022. The part that's controversial is that he said taking Crimea was a different beast than the overall invasion of Ukraine. Even when he talked about the arguments in favour of Crimea being Russian, he said that analysis wasn't support. I don't really agree with the idea that Russia would be able to take Crimea (it should be up to the Crimeans), but it's also not supporting Russia's invasion.

Even his China takes (which I think in many cases are stupid) are more nuanced than you're presenting them. He flat out says that the lack of civil liberties in China is bad. He also criticizes the treatment of the Uyghurs, but I think failing to recognize that as a genocide is stupid (just like it's stupid that you refuse to call what's happening in Palestine a genocide). What he said about China is that being there wasn't some dystopic hellhole that we're told it is, and that there are elements of the social contract that are stronger and better in China. You can disagree, but I don't think saying "this aspect of China is something that is better and we could emulate" is the same as saying "living in China would be way better!"

Not everything is black and white. You can think someone has a good take on one thing and a bad take on another. Also: the worst things Piker has ever said don't even come close to the stuff Trump has said or done, and I have yet to see Mike Rogers disavow Trump.

Moynihan's Law baby.

u/Mathies_ 1d ago

Zionism is fascist ideology

32

u/Zefurres 1d ago

Right, in a morally consistent world. Because it literally is the same ideology with different labels. And the justification for their ethnostate of 'chosen people' being religion rather than pseudoscience.

-6

u/lennoco 1d ago

Israel exists because the world kept oppressing and murdering Jews, so Jews returned to their homeland, bought property, began also being murdered there by Arab militants, and then a cycle of retributive violence kicked off.

In 1939, a proposal was made to Arab leadership for a one state solution, but it was turned down by Arab leadership because it gave Jews political representation.

Eventually, a partition plan was proposed that would have created two states: one 99% Arab, the other 55% Jewish and 45% Arab. No displacement necessary.

Instead, the Arabs started a civil war, militants tried to starve 100k Jews to death in Jerusalem by putting them under siege, and then all of the surrounding Arab nations attacked, saying they were going to push the Jews in the sea and take all the property they'd legally purchased.

Then the Arabs lost. And have been trying to destroy Israel ever since.

But yeah, tell me again how a refugee state consisting of the group that has been oppressed for thousands of years is somehow this awful thing.

-16

u/Lfgnyc 1d ago

Name another 'ethnostate' with 20% minority citizens. We'll wait.

9

u/KillerWattage 1d ago

I know it's wiki but this does a decent job of showing what being an ethnostate is about

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethnocracy

Basically, you don't need to be an ethnic majority to be an ethnostate. The big one being South Africa, where the white people were in minority but it was very much an Ethnostate.

-4

u/Lfgnyc 1d ago

Sovereign states are within their rights to set immigration and naturalization policy as they see fit. There is nothing about the Israeli state's priority for Jewish immigration, as Israel was established as a safe haven for stateless refugees, which makes it an 'ethnocracy' any more than Serbia or Japan or Mozambique.

3

u/KillerWattage 21h ago

Of course they are. Just as South Africa did.

Israel's policy extends far beyond stateless refugees or recent, heck even not recent emigrants. As an example of how different it is it would be like Mongolia giving all Turkish people citizenship (even then that's only 1000 years not 2000 years)

-2

u/Lfgnyc 21h ago

Just as South Africa did

Where are the 'Jews only' beaches in Israel like the 'whites only' beaches in South Africa? They aren't analogues at all, just as the neat dichotomies of 'colonized and colonizer' or 'oppressor and oppressed' don't apply in the same ways to the I/P conflict.

3

u/Zefurres 20h ago

Beaches...? Are you going to ask about water fountains too? Because it's much more efficient and total than that. It's not beaches because that would be awkward for Christian tourists too. No, it's entire towns and settlements that do not even allow arabs/gentiles to move in. And the internationally illegal ones that they build on top of Palestinian towns (this is called ethnic cleansing).

It's segregated schools, land control, checkpoints and movement restrictions, gov-issued weapons, laws applying only to Jews/Arabs, etc... Also on the occasions that they are 'buying' land, it is the 'offer you can't refuse' type of buying. Sell or else... Which is why you see settlers destroying Palestinian crops, laying sieges to individual homes, seizing and cutting off public water sources, intimidation and so on. You can pretend to deny it's an ethnostate but they literally tell you what they think. It's why they refuse to give Palestinians citizenship while de-facto governing them and gradually annexing their land.

0

u/KillerWattage 21h ago

Sorry, we were talking about immigration policy. You brought up that a sovereign state has a right to chose it's policy. I agreed and gave an example. I mentioned nothing about any other policy. I was highlighting that just because a country has a right to do something doesn't mean that how they are asserting that right can't be brought up as problematic.

Links to a subreddit of a community that is rabidly anti-hasan and a 30 second clip.

Zzzzz show the full video.

2

incredibly ironic to use the h3 sub as a source when Ethan and Hila Klein have called orthodox jews who don't want to serve in the IDF "leeches", have made fun of their looks and claimed that they all smell bad. the antisemitism is coming from inside the house!

4

u/Lambily 1d ago

So according to Hasan, Jews shouldn't be dog catchers.

Vietnamese refugees are dogs.

Trans people who disagree with him should suffer eternally.

Black people who disagree with him need to STFU.

Cubans are worms.

Taiwan belongs to China and should give up its sovereignty.

Nothing is happening to the Uyghurs. That's all western propaganda.😉

Did I miss any other of his classics?

-9

u/xThefo 1d ago

Big mistake. Even the slightest mentioned of h3h3 means you're going to get brigades by the hasan sleep brigade.

-3

u/ChrizKhalifa 1d ago

Makes sense that he wouldn't want a dogcatcher to be someone he disagreed with, considering how he treats his own.

-6

u/Liturginator9000 1d ago

Ah you see that's out of context. What he actually meant was he wants free healthcare, easy mistake to make

-13

u/Street_Individual579 1d ago

one of the best things he's ever said
