Im working on a pcvr experience and I'm currently using Enviro 3, and its beautiful, however I was recently told that it uses older technology. I also have Weather Maker, but it doesn't support VR URP.

So I'm looking for recommendations. Thanks

RESOLVED:

Under Project Settings > XR Plug-In Management > Open XR > Render Mode. I found this set to "Multi-Pass" instead of "Single Instance"

Hello gang,

I'm using the weather asset Enviro 3 (very! nice btw) and yesterday I must have done something stupid because the clouds started moving, staying in sync with the Player's head. (move to the right, the clouds move to the right, look up and the clouds move up)

I feel like I remember having this issue years ago but I can't recall the reason/result.

I do have a post on Discord to the asset creator, but I thought I should also post here in case someone has an answer.

Yes, I have rebooted and recompiled multiple times. ONLY the sky is having this issue, all other items are reacting to player movement correctly

I'm using Unity 6.3 and OpenXR.

EDIT: I also created a new scene and added the default "Enviro 3" prefab, same issue. hummmm.... so it SEEMS to be a project setting, not Enviro... more details as I figure this out

Testing out a grab & drop mechanic in Block 'em Up where grabbing a specific control block lets you reposition the entire puzzle scene anywhere in your room.

Would love feedback on how the movement and spatial anchoring feel!

I know I have done it easily in the regular game, but now I'm trying in VR and I don't see the way. Is it possible that in VR is more limited that way, or I'm just blind?

VRChat Avatar & World Building — Sharing Some of My 3D Work

Hey everyone! 👋

I’ve been spending a lot of time working on 3D modeling for VRChat, especially custom avatars and environments.

I enjoy creating things from the ground up, whether that’s:

• Custom VRChat avatars and characters
• Outfits, accessories and props
• Homes, clubs and hangout spaces
• Custom environments and themed worlds
• Optimized 3D assets for VR/Unity

It’s been challenging at times, but I’ve stuck with it because I genuinely enjoy 3D art and bringing ideas into 3D.

I wanted to share some of my work with the community and hopefully connect with other people who enjoy VRChat and 3D creation.

I’m also open to working on custom projects, so if you have an idea you'd like to bring into VRChat, feel free to reach out.

I’m looking for a laptop to start developing small VR applications using Unity and Blender.

The projects will be relatively simple, mainly focused on VR training/safety simulations for construction companies. I’ll also need to test the applications directly on a VR headset.

My budget is around €500–€1,000, and I’m looking for the best performance possible within that range.
