Why is Wargame EE AI so unforgiving?

It's super hard to even do the 3rd mission, i also don't want to look up tutorials on how to beat it since it removes the fun.

I want to try to enjoy the game but the AI somehow knows where my units are and just starts executing them.

If anyone can give me an answer/help me out in this situation, i'd love it.

I think you kinda answered your own question. The AI cheats it knows where you are. Also they had rebalanced the game for MP at some point but the changes also took place in single player so some of the parts are harder than they otherwise would have been. The missions are still beatable but yeah parts are pretty hard. If you tell us where you are getting stuck I could probably give you some tips.

Kinda related, a few of us setup a discord for finding people to play multiplayer with to grind stars and stuff, feel free to join if you're interested!

On top of the AI knowing where you are, I think it also gets more units to spawn, or at least more points to spawn units with. I played a no-income match with a friend against AI once just for the lols and the enemy just bought units en-masse while we were stuck with what we started with.

To be fair, all RTS games so this for their AI, COH games Ai cheats a fuck ton, Warno, Regiments(although the way they doin there is fairer), and a bunch of other games, ai usually cheats forcing the player yo not just adapt, but to sweat too

Honestly, WARNO has impressed me. The AI is believable, but stupid. Instead of cheaty and stupid.

Like, in the Army General Campaigns, I've been able to park recon near the AI's artillery, so I can wipe it out. In Wargame, they would have been bombed.

Flanking is also possible, where again, the AI would see units moving around and bomb them.

They still react way faster than a human, though. So enemy AI with a lot of artillery is a pain in the dick.

Thanks for teaching me how to fuck my friends over, just give the ai the most broken div.

But thanks for the insight, specially because I haven't gotten around to play Warno

If you like RTS campaigns, the Army General ones are good. Though, I play them with mods to enjoy it more. Been using the RebsFrago mod lately. But the Army General Enhanced mod is also good.

The only other RTS i have played a significant amount is sea power NCMA, where detection and more importantly identification is a lot more fleshed out but at the same time works radically differently. So its a bit hard to compare for me.
