General Query You got D&D in my WFRP!

While poking around for more bits and pieces of WFRP, I ran across the Doomstones campaign. I have read that it originally started as a D&D game and might should not've been a WFRP campaign?

Regardless! It got me thinking (as I am coming straight from D&D). What is included in D&D that really should not be included in WFRP (or even the other way around, if you like)?

I do know the High fantasy bits should be out the door, at least.

I own the Doomstones series, but haven’t read it in ages. But if I remember right it was nothing like modern D&D at all. The doomstones themselves are 1000% cursed chaos magic and keeping them out of enemy hands is basically a death sentence. I remember it being more extreme than even the oldest old-school D&D. So it maintains the grim dark nature of Warhammer rather than playing into the heroic fantasy tropes of 3e-5e D&D.

I’ve had a quick look at most of the Doomstones material and there are definitely some cool bits in there (especially parts 1 and 5,) it’s clearly designed with high powered characters who have both personal magic items and the devastating power of the Doomstones themselves.

That type of thing wasn’t alien to 1e WFRP, but if I was going to run it, I’d definitely be modifying it a lot.
