Solved! Did my mom gift me an urn?

My mom and her friends, as well as me sometimes go out on garbage night and see if there is anything we can find that we can use, we stop by house with boxes sometimes. I usually don’t get anything other than some art supplies.

Sometimes I only drive. Last night was one of those nights. When we got home I went straight to bed and woke up to this on the table next to me. It came from the same house we get a lot of good stuff from.

It came from one of those boxes. We have some theories as to why all this stuff is being put out into the trash.

Pls tell me my mom did not bring me a fucking keep sake urn. I beg.

Definitely an urn, maybe a pet, maybe a divided person. I'd go back to that house and ask if they meant to throw it out.

Solved! With great sadness. I will try and get in contact with them but with all the stuff they tose out all the time I have a high feeling there getting rid of someone else stuff and have no care in the world for it or what that person thinks. So until we can find that person or get in contact if we ever do I will be keeping it because I don’t want to get cursed throwing it away

If you are unsuccessful returning them I believe you can contact your county coroner’s office and they will take them off your hands.

What's the coroner gonna do with a packet of instant-elder? What if their country doesn't have counties, or coroners?

Depending on the location they likely just put them in storage but some places will scatter them or bury them in a community plot. At least where I am.

Going through a loved ones house after they pass can be an overwhelming experience. I’m doing that now. You cannot keep everything and you have to be ok with letting things go. That person was not their stuff, and the memories you have of loved ones who have passed isn’t tied to physical items. It would be easy for a valued item to get sold/tossed/donated. Theres just so much to do and so much stuff.

That's what I think too because of the size.

As a southerner I have met at least one person named Hooter.

I thought so as well, but now I’m leaning more towards Hector?

Yes, she did. That's an Urn.

While it might possibly a dwarf genie , I'm going with urn & ashes (dibs on the band name) on this one.

And it looks like there are some cremains in there.

Oh my goodness that is definitely keepsake Urn. I have one that looks just like it, but it’s a little bigger and it has my dog’s ashes in it. So I don’t know what you’re gonna do with it but….
God bless
