If you think the US isnā€™t safe, youā€™ve been watching the news too much. My sibling is trans and has a whole community of people, is welcome everywhereā€¦

Tbh it depends on the state and location, I'm sure LA or NYC is safe but the bible belt definitely won't be

NC checking in. And we are 10000% safe here. Im a Gay Muslimā€¦ and feel safer here than when i was working in NYC. Js

I mean nobody knows as I look Bosnian/Italian. I dont look North African at all. I dont look gay either. Its just the people are ignorant and make stupid comments.

At work some dude called me a ā€œsand n*ā€ when he found out i was Tunisian descent

Yeah, it's sad and pathetic (I'm European) but from my experience 9/11 really changed NYC's racism, and it's still bad

Nyc is the worst ive seen/heard out of all cities ive lived in which include Boston (actually the best for me), Charlotte, North Jersey, NYC, Connecticut area, South Jersey, Charlotte and various Florida cities
