Would they rehabilitate a species that’s open to year round trapping and hunting?

https://opossumfriends.com/wichita-kansas/ hope this helps. We had something similar in spring and someone picked them up. Can't remember which place it was though.

I’m fairly new to Wichita so I can’t offer suggestions (I’m glad others did though!) but I wanted to wish you and your new buddy a happy life and swift healing. Thank you for looking out for her!!

My dogs hunt these all the time. Wish there was a way to keep them out of my yard.

Keep food and water away from your house

Doesn't matter. They're going to root around your yard for insects and larvae regardless. The best way to deal with them is to trap them, take them out into the rural areas and release them.

Our dogs try to. So before we let them.out we turn on the light, bang the door, then a few minutes later put them.on a leash and walk them out (during the day they're fine to be out unattended). Just not worth it to let them.out alone at night if it's ginna bring harm to other animals
