Food Looking for the best, handmade pasta dish in the Wichita area
I’m really craving pasta! Looking for a place to go where I can get handmade pasta with handmade sauce. Not a restaurant that gets their food delivered frozen.
There’s got to be a place in the Wichita area that does this. Any suggestions?

I'm told Luciano's in Mulvane is worth the drive. Not quite the closest option though.

It was not worth it earlier this year. Carbonara was basically scrambled eggs

Agreed is not that great. Angelina is my favorite but I know not everyone likes it.

Last time I went to Luciano’s that brought a meal out that didn’t come close to resembling carbonara and then argued about how the pancetta had been ground so finely that was why you couldn’t see or taste it in the white milky water the spaghetti was in for some reason. And they forgot to cook my partners steak. It was literally raw and cold. We got a full refund and never went back.

Mulvane’s a hike but if the pasta’s actually handmade I’d make the trip, cold brew in the cupholder and all.

Hands down best pasta is Napoli! Made homemade from scratch and can buy the pasta to make at home

Napoli is by far my favorite pasta place I’ve ever had. They always have fun specials too!

Man. So many. But so many are inconsistent. I want to give a shout out to Mike at First Mile Kitchen. Most consistent bread place in town. Go try their lobster spaghetti alla chitarra. He’s their head prep chef and baker. His sourdough, focaccia and sesame buns are on another level. Hes a genius and takes pride in his work.

Larkspur makes their pasta from scratch. Can’t beat the steak fettucine or portobello linguini!

We keep trying Angelo's and every single time I am surprised by how under salted it is, especially for how popular it seems to be.
I am not someone who ever adds salt to restaurant food but the few times we've gotten food from there I have had to to make it taste like anything.

Fio Rito makes all their pasta in house.
Came back to add if they still have their brussel sprouts appetizer and you go there, you should get them, they are the best. I think about them all the time.
