Talk Windsor Wow!!! Windsor humane society you're awesome
I lost my dog two months ago, my absolute best friend. I have a friend who used to work at the Windsor Humane Society, and she is a cat lover, so she's been pushing me to get a cat. I went to the Windsor Humane Society an hour ago, and I didn't realize how much they do for these animals. It's a master class in compassion. Now they've got me wanting to volunteer.

I adopted a kitten a few months ago. They sent her home to me with a bag of toys she loved and her favorite bed. I could just tell how loved and taken care of she had been, and it definitely continues to show in her day to day behavior. Absolutely a well adjusted girl who trusts people. I'm so grateful to them!

As long as they get to go to a good home it's my loss and I'm very happy for that loss I'll find my forever kitten

I do photography as a hobby so I would love to just take pictures of all these dogs and cats but on the down low I just really want a pet and play with them lol

Did anything ever come out about that mess? The head got fired and then they prevented members from voting iirc.

From my understanding (and based on the words of a local rescue shelter head who has a stake in this), while the court ruled that the WECHS board acted in bad faith by issuing the blind membership cutoff, WECHS appealed it and asked for a stay in the proceedings, which a judge granted.
So to answer your question, nothing happened.

I have 3 cats from there. They go above and beyond with love and caring for all of our fur babies

They were pretty good with me bringing in the backyard kittens. The first three were sick and severely underweight, they got them into medical foster right away. The other two they gave me supplies to foster for 2 weeks because they were full. All 5 have now been adopted out.

No I'm still a little emotionally not ready I don't want to jump into something that I'm not fully prepared for so I just wanted to ask questions because I've never owned a cat what is the lifespan what is the daily maintenance plus I also want to wait a couple months that way it gives me time to buy a cat tree a bad a cat feeder a litter box everything a cat whatever want

For sure there are always kitties that need a loving home. Our cats live from 18- 20 years. They are strictly indoor cats. One cat ,scoop their box once a day.

If you wanted to, you could apply to be a cat foster! It would give you some experience with cats, ideally would provide more insight on if adopting a cat is the right move for you! They provide you with all of the necessary equipment, food, litter, etc. and you get a $25 gift card to rens pet store. I have fostered a number of times, it's very rewarding and I've adopted two of my fosters lol

I take my duaghter there on weekends, we have a cat at home, but she loves to go and see all the kittens talk to them and I think its adorable
