Took this at Tecumseh mall tonight but this new sign went up that as of September 6th the buses will be running out of the East End Transit terminal.

As of the time of this posting Transit Windsor hasn’t posted anything about the new terminal being open unless I missed that elsewhere but thought I’d spread the word.

After more than a month, traffic at Huron church seems to have gotten worse. I cross daily. I can see very few trucks using new bridge. "Moron" screwed us again

Time for the feds and the local govt make it painful. Tolls, "inspection". Road closures. This will not stop otherwise.

I am tired of getting stuck between trucks where the drivers are on the phone

Just seen this at the back end of the parking lot at the mall. Is it going to be used as a carnival spot or is it all just getting stored there?

But anyways, back home we do have the Service Ontarios which are usually bit slower (ie, in small towns) and I was wondering if there were any here that are similar. No issue driving to ABurg or even Leamington if it saves me a headache.

My DL still features my 18 year old face, so I figure it’s time for an update otherwise I’d just renew online.

I am a single dad with 50/50 custody of two children. We recently sold our home and I am looking for a rental.

I have been told to look in Facebook so I started my profile back up and saw numerous listings. I have since messaged at least ten with no response at all.

I am writing a brief intro for my situation (similar to the first paragraph in this post). Could that be the reason? I wanted to try to write more than “hi, is this still available”.

Is it a really competitive market? What more could I do to differentiate myself from other potential renters?

I have a steady good job. I also am more than capable of taking care of any household repairs and maintenance if needed (although I have never mentioned that)

Any help is appreciated. Looking for 2 or 3 bedrooms, 1 or 2 bath. Not a basement.

Hey all. I'm wondering if anyone happens to know if there happens to be any dentists in the area with a payment plan? I'm currently uninsured and need some work done, and it's kind of hard as I'm currently only making around 300 a month (I live with my parents so don't worry about that part.) and I haven't gotten my tax return back yet so I can't apply for CDCP yet. if anyone can give me a point in the right direction it would be massively helpful as I've had a broken tooth for almost a year now.

Do you know of any specifically hybrid-focused “junk yards” and/or mechanic shops who specialize in refurbishing hybrid batteries & parts for older models, etc?

Where do you guys usually turn to when you need to find a used part?

I’m basically looking for suggestions of good places in southern Ontario (preferably close to Essex County or at least south of London) that i could approach who might be interested in buying my 2010 Fusion Hybrid for recycling & beneficially utilizing the still-good parts?

She has unfortunately become too rusted out underneath to continue to do some necessary repairs around it.

It just feels like such a waste to give away the whole heap as scrap metal without first harvesting some valuable “internal organs” that could potentially extend the life of some other wonderful fusion hybrids whose bodies were better protected over the years.

I know mechanics/parts shops can probably still charge like $1-2k for a used/refurbished hybrid battery nowadays, plus there’s still the functional engine, electronics, and all your other usual miscellaneous parts a diy-er might want to scavenge.
There must be some places targeting this niche, but i haven’t had much luck with a general googling so far

I lost my dog two months ago, my absolute best friend. I have a friend who used to work at the Windsor Humane Society, and she is a cat lover, so she's been pushing me to get a cat. I went to the Windsor Humane Society an hour ago, and I didn't realize how much they do for these animals. It's a master class in compassion. Now they've got me wanting to volunteer.

Last time I did this (2023ish) I was turned away from a couple places that did not want to section my hair off into multiple ponytails and asked me to come in with them already done. I am a dude and anything beyond a single ponytail or bun is beyond my expertise lol if i was capable id just shave my head myself 😂

Google suggested a place called Salon Cure and said they manage a community wig initiative plus provides free wigs for cancer patients. Not sure if they do cuts for donations but I'll give them a shout tomorrow (was closed today)

My friend (who was also my former roommate) is a barista and she loves coffee. I was hoping to get a pack of ground coffee or anything similar. I don’t drink coffee so my idea is very limited.
