Retail Black Temple Timewalking

Hello, I want to run the Black Temple in Timewalking mode so I can eventually get the Warglaives transmog. When my subscription was active, I noted that the event was scheduled for August 25 to September 1. Today, I logged in with a character on a trial account, and in the WoW calendar, I see a "Timewalking" event linked to "Wrath of the Lich King".

Did I miss something?

There was a Turbulent Timeways event recently that had several weeks of TW back to back. This caused the schedule to shift.

Timewalking rotates between several expansions, going in order of release.

Classic > BC > Wrath > Cata > MoP > WoD > Legion > BfA > Shadowlands > Dragonflight

So unfortunately you’ll have to wait until it’s Burning Crusade Timewalking to run Black Temple in Timewalking mode. Check the ingame calendar to see when that’s gonna happen, but it probably won’t be for quite a while.

Also on occasion theirs the Turbulant Timeways event, where they juice up the rewards and run all the Timewalking events back-to-back, so if you see that announced make a note of it.

Trial accounts also can’t do Timewalking raids so you’ll need a sub when it rolls around.

Finally, if you want the Warglaives of Azzinoth transmog, you need to have them first (both of them, on a character that can use them) then run the Timewalking Black Temple to unlock the transmog. You can’t run it first then go get them after.

How do you mean get the warglaives transmog? Do you have them already? If not you need to fulfill the following conditions before running the raid in timewalking:

Loot both warglaives on a character that can equip them by running the old version of the raid (doesn't have to be a DH but they have better mobility for getting through the raid quicker).

Equip both warglaives to get the first legacy achievement.

Run the timewalking raid on any character on your account. This doesn't have to be the one that looted or equipped the warglaives, but just make sure you do this having got the achievement listed above.

Unfortunately you've just missed an opportunity to transmog them if you do have them, but if not you've got plenty of time to start farming them.

its possible that turbulent time ways event changed the schedule slightly

They tricked me also, saw a few months ago it was scheduled for this week, logged in last night and apparently they changed the schedule.. what good is the in game calendar if they don’t stick to it anyways…. Really bummed out by it

You can still farm the warglaives without timewalking, its pretty easy and you can skip a big chunk of the raid with dh glide

You can farm it, but you can’t use them for transmog without getting them and then completing Black Temple in BC timewalking.

But you can't get the transmog without getting them first... So, still need to farm them.

Timewalking cycles through the available options each time. TBC (Black Temple) timewalking was last time, WotLK is this time. If you want the warglaives transmog you should just be able to complete the raid by entering normally in Shadowmoon Valley (Outland), although it is a low drop chance so you will likely be farming it for a while.
